This is EXCELLENT quality, great picture & sound. And VERY fast, as I predicted/hoped. For some reason, my d/l was an mpg file instead of a bin/cue, but it doesn't really make a difference to me.

MaTinE, many thanks & hope to see more releases at this quality level. 8/8/7

Very nice rls. Been a long time since I've seen such quality
on such a early rls. I don't think anything else better will come along anytime soon.

get this quick..

Posted by Air1 on 02-07-2004 04:39 PM:

not interested in seeing it until the retail version, but downloaded both samples (yes it has 2 samples for some reason - i didnt read the nfo) cause the jpg's here looked so damn good.

this release is superb. as far as the video goes, it really doesn't get much better than this for a TS and/or CAM. light areas a little too light and dark areas a little too dark. motion blur is present though not too extreme. but know what? all these things are NORMAL for a TS/CAM so no complaints here.

the audio is very good though EASY's The Perfect Score release has the best audio for a TS/CAM i think i've ever seen. this release is still good, though.

9/8.5/x

fucking get over the laughing in the previous release. it was a fucking cam. and at least they stated it in the nfo so you knew before you downloaded it.

matine with another great release. good colors, nice sound. havent seen the movie yet, ill most likely watch this one tonight.

8/7.5/?

very good quality and relatively quick. wish it was bin/cue, but hey, for a free movie ill set it up myself. not as good as the first but still a great movie. 9/9/9
thanks a lot matine!

My Full Review...This is a great release from MATINE. The Picture is beautiful and the audio is superb. The movie is sorta complete..just a millisecond of footage on a glitch in cd1. But very minor..not enough to say missing footage, it wasn't even 2 seconds worth. So its sorta complete. Besides that I don't care if its bin/cue or mpeg..saves me the trouble of converting with vcdgear.
ADVANTAGES OF MPEG. You can use Ulead DVD Factory2 and put menus and chapters on it. with background and music and then burn. So mpeg isn't a bad thing..try it and stop complaining. This definitely should not be nuked. Its the best out there.

9/9/9 Movie was funny and good fun. Keep this up MATINE...I got high respects for you now...

if this is nuked for being a mislabeled cam, then why arent the obvious ones that have been coming given the same treatment? i swear, i think most people just have thier heads up their ass.

Hey, don't blame it on me, it is nuked in many places for mislabeled CAM. Groups need to learn to label properly, then shit wouldn't be nuked would it?

Posted by firefighter on 02-07-2004 06:07 PM:

Looks like MaTinE got a new supplier . Damn this movie looks good - pictures and sound. Even if it is a misslabled CAM as mS said its still gonna be better then any *upcomming TS*. Picture & Sound are both excellent. Still havent Seen barbershop 1 - so wont be getting this - for those who wanna see the movie , im sure their gonna enjoy this.

Now time to comment on *other* things. heh .

Last few days been seeing alot of these *info* .nfo's floating around. First - Read.NFO.ASAP-MaTinE - then this hilarious stuff last night. No one cares about your internal grp problems. Be nice though if ya can get your stuff together and *kick* out the idiots. MaTinE looks like they finally got a good supplier now if the grp can get together. (those who wonder what the hell im talking about) - Barbershop for example:

Barbershop.2.SVCD.TELESYNC-MaTinE - nuked group request (leaked)
Barbershop2.SVCD.TELESYNC-MaTinE - nuked not bin/cue format
Barbershop.2.SVCD.TS.REPACK-MaTinE - nuked group request (leaked again)

Seriously time to give up on this release and move onto the next. I think those who wanted it just got the mpeg copy (2nd). Work on your grp probs and we got a nice release grp . Anyway Very nice release props. My two cents , not that it matters

8/7/?

Well they still released the REPACK 1 hour after it was *leaked* but it still got nuked - leaked , cropped , missing scenes - take your pick. I think its time to give up on this release ... onto the next !
