Yup is a nice rip - Full Screen , colors were good , bit blocky but not by much and sounds excellent , much better copy then the TC previously released . Got the FOR SCREENING PURPOSE stuff scrolling along the bottom but no counter noticed. Picking this copy up now.

7/8/?

looks clean with the usual BS scrolling warning. FS... also to limit use amazon.com people. It is not hard to check release date.

This item will be released on April 20, 2004. You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives

Sorry, but i have to disagree on this one. I like the VCD Central ts better. It's SVCD and Widescreen. there were a few sound quirks but it was pretty damn good. This a decent VCD screener. A little blocky on big tv. Sound is excellent and it has a typical screener scroll at the bottom. IMOP only worth a dl if you don't already have VCD Central SVCD.

7/9/7

However, if you simply must have the screener it's a pretty good one. You decide

screener or telecine?

Now i'm not sure which way to go now, i wanted to get a decent copy of this movie and was set to get the telecine version till i seen this, now after reading the reviews i'm not sure at all now.....

Suppose i could get both then compare..

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 02-17-2004 11:18 AM:

This is pretty nice...and yes a little blocky on my tv...but I'll wait for a dvdrip..I think the vcd central and mpt copies which are from the same damn source will hold me off...even with the sound glitches.

This is nice though..but Fullscreen just isn't my thing...

8/10/8 Movie was actually ok..just too damn short..and should have been scary because comedy wise it sucked..

Haunted Mansion Screener

Im getting the full thing now just looked at the sample picture looks pretty good looked a bit dark though, great audio. just remember its a vhs screener and u will know what to expect.

from the sample 8.7/9

ill update when i have it all.

Update finnished getting it nice quality when u run it throung the tv. so what the telecine is in wide screen big deal if you have a widescreen tv this looks great just if you have a normal its full screen i dont really like this but i got a widescreen tv

if u been waiting for a good version get this one.

9/9/7

you know there is a nasty rumor going around that this is from the same source as VCDCentral's TC, but after watching, I have to put this rumor to rest, 'cause the TC doesn't have the warning that scrolls at the bottom like this version.

I agree with bcool2k a bit, if you didn't grab the TC, then get this ... but if you do have the TC, stick with it- it's WS and SVCD and not bad, I don't much like VHS screeners myself, they are a bit blocky and almost always FS.

good release though

8/10/6 (didn't much care for the movie)

yes they are full screen but they go to widescreen on a widescreen tv. i prefer this to the TC anyday.

Lordy, are you a troll? Do you honestly think that having a 4:3 picture stretched to 16:9 is just as good has having a proper 2.35:1 widescreen image?

For me the best option would be for a person with more nouce than me, to mix the widescreen picture with the sound of the screener, then you won't have to have the copyright scroll or a 4:3 image or the poppy sound!
