I dont know what it is with screeners these days i must be thinking of the tcf fs screeners that i used to like, cause when i look at this is just looks shitty. colors are oversaturated, and its pixelated. sound is decent, dont know about this supposed to be a comedy i guess so i might check it out, from the sample it looks like its gonna be a weird one.

It's been so hard
but I can't let it die
Turn my head up,
looking at the stars
So many years,
I still wonder where you are?
Dust myself up
and I scream at the sky
Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly

Well I think alot of this movie will be a bit strange for many people, because this movie is based on part of the LDS (mormon) culture. So alot will be inside humor I imagine, although I have yet to see it, although it's still in the theater in my town.

To explain, Home Teachers are 2 average members of the church assigned various families that you go to once a month and visit with them, share a religious message, and just make sure the family is getting everything they need and getting them help where you can. This movie wasn't released much outside of Utah, so I'm suprised that there's a screener released.

Inside moron jokes? They must be so deep in the mormon closet no one will get them. The film tries to carry itself on prop gags. But poor editing (reminds me of the boom mikes like in daddy daycare was it?) is not funny, even if it was done intentionally, maybe you won't notice with the poor film copy..
We give it 2 thumbs down, and 1 thumb up... my 2nd wife has a thing for these slapsticks.

Well, they're not that deep if you're LDS. For example, him dozing off in a boring Elders Quorum lesson about home teaching (happens about every sunday, no matter where you live)...I suppose it's not as much inside jokes, but the culture and stereotypes inside the LDS culture.
