VideoCD can't fuck that up, sample looks fine. It's a cartoon, what are the odds for a bad rip o.0
I've seen the movie before, it is great

Hmmm, i dont get it. VideoCD claims the 1st part is 1.66.1 all the way thru on 0's release, yet the 1st part doesnt look anything like 0's. The 1st part of the AR on VideoCDs CD 1, looks nothing like 0's. The viewing size is really small as if it were windowed or something. When the AR changes towards the end of CD 1 though, itlooks great.

Really sucks the whole movie cant look like that. I cant understand why they chose to film the movie that way.

Id rather stick with 0's because atleast the AR is wider all the way through it.

If im wrong, someone care to explain?

Well I watched the DVDR, and it looks that way too, the 1.66:1 parts have black bars on the sides, but it should be same "picture" as -0 just zoomed out. But after like a third of the movie it switches to 2.35:1 and I was glad I didnt download any of the earlier rips, that would've sucked with 1.66:1 where it should've been 2.35:1, I hate cropped stuff.

this looks stupid, watching the first 25 minutes in a little box,
even if the ar is supposed to change, the 2.35:1 part should still fit the width of the screen, and then switch to 1.66:1, STILL fitting the width.
