Well..Movie looks great and sounds real kick-ass too, but i was just checking out CD 1, and noticed something really odd.

When shes fighting Vivica Fox in her home and her daughter comes home, Uma says, "Hi my name is --BEEEEEEEPP--, whats yours?"

Anyone notice that? It makes some weird beep sound as soon as shes about to say her name. Now is this part of the movie and one of Tarantinos weird quirks so you couldnt hear what her name was? Because if not, this isnt retail then, and some silver/screener/whatever. Possibly some MPAA shit lol?? I dunno. You guys are more knowledgable with this stuff then i am, so hopefully one of you will know exactly what that sound was.

Movie owns though. I loved how they mixed the anime style into an actual film like this. Like the way the blood would gush, just as if it was anime cartoon. Didnt think it would be good at all, but it proved me wrong. Cant wait to see Volume 2.

The Japanese speech subs hardcoded into this release? They weren't in Diamond's.

Yes they are, although they were a little funky...it almost looks as if they were black text with a white drop shadow, so as you can imagine, on the black border at the bottom, were it black text, you can't read it, just the dropshadow.

It's still readable, but I wonder if that was an issue with the encode job or if it's like that on the source. Who knows. Still a good rip aside from that.

fight scene

anyone know about the black and white fight scene in this release? I know the US version is black and white. I was going to grab this one while I wait for my pre-ordered japanese kill bill with the full color fight scene.

Hopefully someone that already has can let me know if the fight scene is still in black in white

Beautiful. The subs are all there, but like someone said, they're a little funny looking. It has a shadow thing going on. It only needed to be one colour since it was against the black border at the bottom anyways. Still great though. The picture and sound is tops.

kill bill.........no offense to anyone that likes this movie....but i went to watch it with enough friends to fill up 2 rows in the theatre...and during the entire movie we just kept on looking at eachother wondering if this movie can get any more boring... practically everyone in the movie theatre had that look on their face...some people even left midway....ill probably still watch part 2 JUST to see what happens..but damn this movie sucked royally. As for the rip, its fucken sweet....

It's a love it or hate it movie I've found...I personally loved it. Very unique, and yes the rip is great.

bah... would have been a perfect rip if it weren't for the subs, vid and audio quality are awesome, subs... are really hard to read. Like someone said, black text with white drop shadow, they're legible, but difficult to read, hope they repack/someone propers.

Thank God there is finally a copy of this movie that does this movie the justice that It deserves.. The Pic and Sound are both Vibrant and Direct. and i just love the soundtrack. I can't wait till Kill Bill Vol 2 comes out.. Oh yeah another quality DVDRip as always from our good friends Chakra.. This one of my Top Ten Movies of the Year. Only 1 gripe about the rip. I prefer the Yellow Subtitles of the Workprint to the White on black ones. Anyway DL this sucker now. You won't be sorry you did!!!!!!!!!
