hopefully this is just a switched nfo?
it's sad that a group the size of DzN can't get a decent .nfo gen to make it's own .nfo files so they don't have to worry about pre'ing with the right ones, that's pathetic.
another DzN bomb, why do they bother, sucky quality, could be more of a bitrate ... anywho, I'm going to try to finish this one up not the best movie.

How do u know if it's untouched? It's clear the nfo is hosed, so that part of the nfo could be wrong too.

Jeez, all those extras and a 1 DVD release? Columbia usually is better about these things.
Maybe they didn't see the money or interest in a "2 Disc Special Edition" of Big Fish.
Shame really.
extras list isn't that huge, are there times for the featurettes? some probably last a few mins at most, and a commentry takes up next to nothing. and a quiz? can't see that being at 5000kbit on the retail, so i wouldn't say this was a 2dvd job. heck, if i bought it and popped in the 2nd dvd and all there was staring at me were a few featurettes (probably of the same awesome viewing quality as most other featurettes. ie, late night tv free adveritising fodder) and a quiz, i'd be a bit miffed

I think the nfo isnt wrong...Been waiting to see this... Even though it aint good, i'll judge it when i see it!
Just got through watching this. It's a nice release, nothing special. Not sure whether I was hearing things but there seemed to be a bit of distortion in the audio? Picture was very nice though.

Good film, but not as dark as you'd expect from Burton.

oh shut it I have it I think it may be the shit apex cause works ok on pc and dvd is suppose to be ws
Ya whatever DzN uses to make their DVDrs with does play the movie FS and subs come on sometimes too on my RCA dvd player. It's probably the 1click program they use. I just have to play them on my other player. (Sony)
authored incredibly poorly. subs didn't come up when they were supposed to (so i had to rewind the scene when i realised i was supposed to understand what they were saying) and even tho it played in correct AR, if i paused it and then restarted it'd be in FS for a second or so. also, at end of movie it simply stops rather than going back to menu (slight niggle, but a fault nonetheless)
can see an internal being done properly due to silly things like this, but i doubt it'll be propered. i'll probably buy it just for the commentry, cos it was bloody brilliant.

Hmm, I didn't get a single problem with the release on either standalone player or computer... That's pretty funky stuff. I guess I am just lucky
I wonder if there is a forced subtitle track for the Chinese speech. Guess we will have to see it on the retail. Makes no sense for them to cut that (would be ~2 megs on the DVD). But then again, I wouldn't be surprised if it was messed up. IF the chinese speech was on during regular subtitle track, then most likely there was not force subtitle track. Anyone know if there were subs in the theater for the diff lang speech?
However, doubt this was done with a 1 click proggy If it was, then these problems wouldn't be happening
The movie was pretty good actually... Little slow paced, but a decent Tim Burton meets Forest Gump kind of movie.
Any ideas how to fix the FS problem the menu loads WS but when you start playing its FS.
Wouldn't be the first time DzN put out a one-click rip thats works poorly, and the subs issue and the other issues make it seem as if it isnt untouched after all, otherwise it should be pretty much flawless unless they fucked up the stripping which is kinda hard even for DzN.
