Not just a crap movie. But quite possibly the worst release i've ever seen.

How the hell they deem this a proper and how the hell they have an excuse to make this SVCD i don't know.

Seriously. I'm shocked at how shit this is and how they have the audacity to put this out as SVCD leaves me speechless.

Worst release of 2004. If not ever.

FTF released a VCD TS - CoDE9 is a SVCD TS *shakes head* - propering nobody.....

I have to agree with Mystic on his comments - this release is ubber crap and shouldnt have been released in the first place. I seen it pre and got about the sample before nuked. The picture as refered to reminds me of a bad UMS CAM release , the sound wasnt pretty also.

If CoDE9 reads this - plz dont pre anymore movies that look like this - keep to yourselfs , waste of bandwidth.

Completely agree this is terrible, why in gods name someone post this, just a waste of bandwidth, thank god for me only the sample was put up.

Well i don't think its THAT bad the video is watchable with nice colour and the audio is clear enough so you can understand what they're saying.

How this has a rating as high as 2+ is beyond me. I only wish you could give negative ratings.

I think its funny how all of you are commenting and voting like lemmings, and none of you have actually seen the full release.

This is a re-encode of the FTF version, only 5x better. Quite a lot of work went into this. The video and audio were greatly improved, and it gets lower marks than FTF??! That just goes to show how many people who post here actually have a clue what they're talking about.

Oh, and for all of you thinking code9 is a "new release group", you need to be slapped, LOL

I was wondering when this would post ...so I could talk sh.t. I was mad as hell I downloaded this 2 days ago. This blurry interlaced garbage. I can't believe they would take FTF's version and tmpgenc it and call it a proper.

and CATBOX to say this is 5x better is a disgrace. you get the stfu award of the evening. this sh.t was interlaced beyond belief they used a 3:2pulldown and the screen is beyond blurry and jags up during every movement. This is no proper and it repulsive they would even redo FTF's version and re-release it as there own. Pathetic sh.t.

The movie is still terrible even if the release is cleaned up. And by cleaned up I mean grainy with a terrible hiss. Terrible release of a terrible movie but this ia actually all this thing deserves.

@ firefighter- I never said it was GOOD, as you can only do so much with the source. I just said it was better than the original, and it is.

code9 releases have never shown up on VCDQuality, as they are stricly a reencode group, and do not CAM their own stuff. Apparantly someone posted it on a topsite, and it spread down to you. NO, i am not a member, and no I didn't encode it. I'm just tired of the bashing when the group makes no claims to Proper anyting. Whoever posted it on this site is the one who labeled it Proper. They just tried to bring a better quality version to the scene of their supporters, and it should have never shown up on VCDQuality. Nuff said.

As a novice encoder (dvd rips to divx only) I can only speak as a viewer of this movie.Now I appreciate that if the original source is bad to start with there is only so much you can do to improve it.But to put out an end product like this can only be detrimental to the name of code9.It was so bad I only managed to watch 20 minutes of it before I put the cd's on my coffee table.I've now had three re-encodes from this group now and I think although they are trying to do a good job I won't be getting any more.Nice try tho guys.

know them from phoenix torrents, made up mostly of kids that think they can call make a DVD from a TC (killbill)

they know crap about nothing but still claim to be able to make gold from shit.

being this a reencode makes it worst than being shit at the first place.
