just looked at sample 9/9/?
one of the best ts ive seen picture is clear with plenty of colour
sound is very clear

audio = quite good, i dunno theres a slight buzz in it at some points

video = very good, kinda orange but i like it very much

film = looks amazing eye gouging and all

8.5/7/(hopfully 10 :P)

this until scr or dvd

only downside is 3cds

Post film review :

v: 8 (blue for first 12 mins, then parts during the film where goes psychedelic)
A: 8.5(was nice)
M: 9 (props to QT)

Shame about the funky colours through the film,it was so nearly perfect.

It's a 2 year old movie, Tarantino is just bringing it over from China. There are already multiple releases of it. (MiramAxe had originally planned to just shelve it for a while longer, like they did on Shaolin Soccer (3 years), til Tarantino came along and forced it out of em)

7/7/10 for this release though.. Solid video (looks like an oversaturated VHS), solid sound (fairly clear, major plus), and I fucking love this movie - completely different beast than the first volume (talking.. talking.. more talking) but damn talk about entertaining.

Sweet job, TCR.

Tarantino had nothing to do with Hero, it was released in China 2 years ago, Tarantino is just producing it in the US.

Not hardly a tarantino movie...this movie has been out for like 2 yrs now its JUST getting a USA major theater rls ive had the import 2 disc rls for like 1 1/2yrs it is an awesome movie but it isnt directed or produced or have anything to do with tarantino film wise other than he got it FINALLY rlsed in america.

pretty bad place to take the sample, all dialog but oh well...decent over-saturated pic and the sound is decent direct-input sound, or VERY GOOD cam sound...

Tarantino has nothing to do with the production of HERO. I have this movie on Dvd already! Top notch film. Absolutely fantastic. Tranantino, has just bought the rights from miramax to release the uncut version, which im waiting for. This is a must see movie.

M 8 (Because they took all the violence from the original script out)

All you need in a TS for a diologue driven film.
PS : "Hero" is just being released by QT, not directed, and has been "around" for awhile

Wow.

For a moment, I actually thought this was a DVD rip. The color saturation and brightness were flawless, and the audio was pristine. No hiss, no.. no... no anything! I can't find a damn thing wrong. I can't WAIT to see this in theaters, it's going to be good. Everyone needs to get this!!!

My unbiased rating - 8/8/x, if not 9's. Wow. All I can say is wow.

nice picture, nice sound, no tilt angle noticed
one thing tho the colour appeared to be a bit redish
however that might be down to the actual scene in the film
havent downloaded the entire film yet only the sample

other than that tho
