Plain old black, never really thought about using another one, what about the skins that boh used?

black - no adverts.

I've always used blue! Dunno why. I thought it was default.

Black definitely, much easier to read.

unless v3 is a total turnaround (which we won't find out, cos we don't have a license no more) then vb is just.. horrible. really hate it. not as much as i hate phpBB2, but i've installed and adminned a lot of the forums software in the last few years, and ipb simply gets better and better with each revision. the amount of handy new features that the users have suggested that are in v2.0 since 1.3final is phenomenal.

reasons i prefer ipb to vb? featureswise.. from default i have: fast reply, photos in profiles, multiple quotes per post, 'snapback' to quote, multiple attachments per post, attachment manager w/ disk space meters, attachments in PM, secondary user groups, permission masks, incredible Admin CP.. the list goes on and on.

http://forums.invisionpower.com is running IPB2.0 PDR2 (late alpha/early beta) and is running stabily. i'm running PDR1 and whilst i've encountered a few bugs, its still holding up pretty darn well.
