nice to see replica didnt junk the bruce campbell commentary - im not not a big advocate of extras usually, but this one is something special

Ever hear the bruce campbell commentary on the Evil Dead series? Simply halarious. I havent listen to this one yet but I definatly will here soon.

This was good... I am glad that video wasn't downsampled since this video (untouched they say) already shows true signs of a low budget movie.

Video 8/10 - As good as if you bought it at your local store. I love my untouched video. Not a bad print despite the budget of this movie (only 32 prints made in total for the limited run of this movie).

DVD-R 10/10 - Great choice of extras (deleted scenes and commentaries). I am SUPER happy Replica did not downsample the movie to fit more extras on (or make a *complete*).

As for the movie. If you are a Bruce Campbell fan, watch it ASAP. It is pretty damn funny, and very original. However, it was no Army of Darkness. But it's tough to beat the Evil Dead series.

This was a damn good release. Wonderful movie, and it seems a perfect rip (the video is low budget it seems, because it's not "digital" video error, just shoddy source), so I'm sure they did the best they could (I mean, it is untouched). 10/10/9

Very great movie, and a very great release. I am THRILLED that they left both commentary audio tracks intact. I listened to the one with Campbell and the director last night. Tonight, I watch it again with Elvis.

I would like to see the 'making of' extra feature, but I'm glad they didn't downsample anything to get it on there.

All in all a terrific release for a terrific movie!

I'll probably still buy it. They could use all the support they get.
