err this is like a week old.....but oh well its a decent rls 8/9/4. nice dts audio

This is the one to get. Won't need another release until dvd release. Stereo sound and pretty clear pic make this a must have. Props to Videocd.

Nice to see that VideoCD releases are being posted here again. If I remember correctly, there was some "beef" between the group and this site, and this site wasn't posting their releases for a while. Check the releases. You'll see that NONE were posted of VideoCD's stuff, even though VideoCD has put out a TON of new stuff in the past 3 weeks. Well, I'm glad they settled whatever it was that was going on and are now posting VideoCD'S stuff on here again.
Anyways, the quality of this release was nice. I saw it at the movies and wanted to see it again. That other release by VideoCentral, or whatever they were called just didn't cut it. It was blocky on all the fast action scenes, and the quality was a bit below what it could have been. This VideoCD proper was nice. Not the best I've ever seen, but definitely good enough to have until a screener comes out. The audio was FLAWLESS. Crisp, snappy, and clean. Sounds like hi-fi stereo at LEAST.

Strange... I dunno if this posting of a VideoCD release is an accident or if the situation has changed but I'll rate the movie anyway (even if it is a little old).

I wasn't expecting much from this film, just about everybody has been slating it but I watched it last night and was pleasantly surprised. What we have here is another by-the-numbers special effects movie and it doesn't pretend to be anything else. It's not going to win any awards but I've seen far worse, it's on a par with most of the other superhero and monster movies released over the last year or two.

Ignore the front page, it's 3CD's and before anybody asks, the movie appears to be complete... Well, I didn't notice any missing bits at least. In fact, you get a nanosecond glimpse of another movie at the end of CD3 (some bloke outside a cabin or something IIRC - I was stoned), so you're getting more "movie" than is necessary

Video - 7 - a little dark in parts and the opening scenes lacked colour (unless they were meant to look like that).

Audio - 9 - sounds like a DTS rip to me, the audio is perfect.

Movie - 7 - it's not going to change your life but if all you want is some action and SFX, you could do worse. Better than I expected it to be.

Damn shame it's a proper of the same release missing the scenes between CDs 1 & 2 and the ending cut....wish someone would've came out with a new source.

Come on VCDQuality....piss,or get off the pot.

as stated this is a week old the pic is kinda saturated in dark parts bright parts looks jus fine
audio is good no problems there, direct sound.


good to see vcdq listing these guys's rls's again
