You guys should read the NFO properly

You guys shouldn't flame WVF so much...seriously...they give credit where its due in their nfo plus they state that they are just doing it b/c some people can't or don't know how to watch SVCDs...I think you guys should give them a break. Their reencodes are top notch. I would rather download their copy than spend time to reencode it myself and watch it.

i think the point of this is to post what you think about the QUALITY of the release (hence the name of the site). if you guys dont like the group or dont want to get their reencoded releases or want to re encode it your self then do so and stfu. now someone that has actually seen this release what do you think about it?

oh and it is faster for me to download another movie then it is for me to re encode the fucker so if my dvd player didnt play svcds i would get this release rather then downloading then reencoding in when i could just download one. so everyone stop being little little bitches unless you release shit better then them.

dumwaldo: Yawn! Such a boring argument, and maybe evidence that you need to get the fuck off of your PC once in a while and take your elitist attitude with you. The last time I read the "fish" analogy that you paraphrased, it was on some Christian poster trying to make people in starving countries feel better. We're not starving. You want fish? Then you get yourself over to the fucking frozen food section in the supermarket and get a microwave-able, ready-in-10-minutes fish!

Not all DVD players handle SVCD, mine does so I don't need these re-encodes, but for others it saves them the bother of not only downloading a movie but then listening to their hard drive chug away like a dot-matrix printer for a few hours converting the files. WVF, or any other re-encode group, are contributing to the scene by saving somebody somewhere trouble, just like any other group who saves someone the trouble of recording a cam/telesync or stealing a screener. And if they choose to distribute over IRC then so be it, they can shove the fucker on Morpheus for all I care! It's up to them if they want their releases to go to anyone who has the ability to download freeware rather than someone who's kissed a lot of arse to get their precious FTP login. Let's put all you fuckers back on modems and see how grateful you are...

The quality of this release is very nice, aside from that perhaps peeps should learn to encode or re-encode themself, im not sure why peeps recon they will get better results than the groups tho...

vcd vault didnt do a reencode i believe clix did it, and it was very good quality, infact hard to tell from the dvd rips, but its not a divx forum so hey

hopefully they will do a few original releases to shut you guys up, but hell i dont care

I think ppl would be happier if they did the vcd encode from the source, not re-enc a svcd. If i was a vcd-only person, i know thats what i'd prefer, afterall, i could do the re-enc myself.

would be nice to see a direct encode by the original group as well as svcd release, like the dual divx releases with ac3

True....but re-encoding takes time and HD space....I rather just have a version availiable that I could download and burn instead of wasting vaulable computing time and effort to rip and re-encod and burn by myself.
