HMM... I am having troubles with this one... The DVD starts, all I see is black screen. This is before ANYTHING shows up (menu or anything). Might be me since I re-installed my machine, but not sure. Was using PowerDVD.
Checked the VOBs... Nice video and I like that it's movie only without any other crap (including FBI warnings)
I will probably fix this up myself, or a patch might be needed if it is not just me with this problem. But want to make sure there is a problem first.
Judging from the video, this could be a great release. Much better than their Monster release![]()
I had a feeling it was too.
Ya no probs here....
Just finished watching this great movie and all was good. This might be the shortest post I write
Video was at the best possible a DVD-R can do. A small 50 meg menu, and the rest is video and 5.1 sound. Can't ask for better quality on the movie.
Nice to see all the FBI warnings and pre-menu crap was cut. This is top of the line. Really nice to see this right after the Monster dilema. Or was that all just in my head?
hehe
Video 9/10 - Long movie for a DVD-R. 2:17ish is quite the bit to pack on. However thanks to keeping only the bare essentials on the DVD-R, this turned out to be some good shit.
DVD-R 10/10 - Movie really is at its highest bitrate possible. This is how all releases should be IMO.
This movie is kick ass! Buy it! Or at least rent it. D/l it, if you like it then buy it! Clint rocks
Watched it last night... Quality was top-notch.. No negative issues to speak of.. Good job by aNBC on this one...
Recommended for video/audio quality, as well as the movie being good.
This is the first release in ages that I haven't had to mess around with and tidy up before burning. I had a quick nose around and everything seems in good order. Just straight menu and movie with no silly trailers, warnings etc. I will watch this properly tonight.
Subtitles Problem
Well... I can get the subtitles to work on the PC (using Cineplayer) but they don't work my stand alone DVD player. Didn't work on the PS2 either. What's up with that? Can someone provide a patch? Or does anyone know how I can fix that?
Ha ha! I spoke too soon.
There's a subtitles fix out for this done by aNBc themselves. I just can't seem to find it...
widescreen is all I asked for..I'm cool with it..
