better than fbc release dont think is the same source as this once doesnt have the slant on it sound & pic is ok for 1 of the first releases

6/6/7

Posted by turkey on 05-29-2004 04:00 PM:

it is the same scource only cropped to remove the top angle.

If you check the sample there is a person in the way of the screen as "less than one in a billion" is said on both releases.

personally with the jerkiness id rather grab the other and crop the top myself.

5/7/? <- im off to the big screen for this so it better be worth it

edit: heh on another note just watched the sample again looking at the brightness as mentioned it has been artificially highered, as shown by the glare from the plane window, this may lead to a "Troy" effect during the snow scenes. Just a thought tho.

not too bad

6/5/x

i think these kind of movies were over when deep impact came out. I hate these movies, our world is already doomed so why make movies about it?
Besides its all predicable, they will be able to stop it at the last minute. Sorry these plots never really appealed to me. thats just me tho.

no good, sync goes totally out towards end of cd1 (tried on power dvd and 2 standalones) - i'm talking 3-4 secs out so it's unwatchable. Proper of the proper anyone.
Time groups started checking there shit before releasing

Posted by firefighter on 05-29-2004 05:12 PM:

You cant proper on quality, remember POT & VideoCD on Shrek 2. lol but yet grps try.

Since when did -TUN get silvers , (could be same silver thou - but everything is exactly same between the two) Seems Angle is not as bad though.

RELEASE NOTES: We are proud to bring you this movie with proper picture + sound, download or not here it comes!

Well Sound of this is same , sample is the same. Framerate + goes into like slow motion at times. Cropped a little bit.

i picked up fbC's copy last night , a quick crop & brighten looks exactly the same as this copy. ima pass

The Day After Tomorrow *CD2 Sync Fixed*

Ya I knew TUN wouldn't fix, so I did.

1 sec break at the 38min mark on CD2. Fixed and remuxed.
Video wasn't touched.

Posted by bryehn on 05-30-2004 03:23 AM:

happens on cd2 also.

thumb, or head, or something most of the time on the right 1/3 of the screen. what a waste. movie was pretty crappy also.

4 thumbs down.

VID: 4 (6 without giant black obstruction)
AUD: 2 (hiss, inaudible speech during scenes with any background noise, crackling, and out of sync on both cds)

PIC: 6 (pretty generic "find the loved one" plot. not enough death and destruction, lame acting, etc. )
