Very nice telecine, me thinks. Picture is very good and audio is excellent. And such a great movie! And props for not labeling this as DVD-scr, like some other group might have done

Excelent work VideoCD, when I was lookin at those sample pics I was thinkin this looks pretty crappy for a DVD-SCR, but then I jsut remembered this is a telecine, so as a telecine it looks great.

video = 7
audio = 8

film = 5 (didnt think much of this one first one was better)

Posted by vip3r on 06-06-2004 02:41 PM:

Yeah i have to agree, the video is a bit jumpy..but props on the quick repack of this good film

Video: 8 - Good telecine picture, bit jumpy though
Audio: 9 - What else is there to say..
Movie: 6 - Good film, not as good as the first though....worth a few watches though

HAS THE BEEF WITH VCD QUALITY AND VIDEOCD BEEN SQUASHED? I see that all of VideoCD's releases from the past 2 months have [magically] been posted! That's GREAT! I'm glad to see that they worked things out! I hated not seeing their releases listed on here for so long.
As far as this release, it's cool. I've seen so many releases of this movie that I really don't care that much anymore. Might as well wait for the retail DVD at THIS point.

Video 8
Audio 9
Movie 7

If you guys think that is a quality TC...well...shit you've never seen a really good TC...it has bad IVTC or something which makes it jump every 5-10 seconds and the video is cropped...should be nuked...

one more time VideoCD?

...this has bad frame rate and should be nuked, due to jumpy-ness every 5 minutes? It is a very poor encode....

This release is not necessary. The Telesync was a perfectly fine release. I mean its a nice release but not that much better than the telesync.
