good quality as always. however the faces seem to be extremely red in part of the sample.

7/8/looks shitty

Posted by scott_85 on 08-02-2004 10:24 PM:

judging from sample i'd say:

8/9/6

Maven have released some good releases lately. Watched this but didn't like it that much, a little to cheesy for my liking.

never expected a maven release

quality is much better than the cam, which is expected in a telesync

not quite up to par with there earlier rips, but very good neverthe less

video: 7.5. very watchable

sound: 8. as expected with a maven TS, quality is very good

movie: 5. pretty bad remake of the orginal

From the sample the rls looks and sounds very nice (exceptions are a very slight motion blur/flicker and audio a tad low), and seeing as how I had to watch the movie I actually found it to be all right. Definitely reminds me of a spy kids theme, but heh the guy with the creepy eyes who can control peoples minds was pretty cool lookin

8/9/6

No front'ing maVen, you now set the standard, FULL STOP

No new group comes through and sets this standard release after release, so anyone who knows anything knows what I’m talking about.

This is a 9/9/5 in anyone’s book, if being critical a little bit bright but I’m being overall critical and this, IMO is perfect for the source. Until DVD-R 5.1 releases I’m gonna rate audio 9.

maVen, stick to the 'BIG' releases, VideoCD you proved your dues and Limited is where we need improvement in the scene and you know it from the efforts your making. CTP just keep the name going when times are hard for the scene, as you set the standards in the first place for others to follow.

To have three quality groups in the space of three months is only good for the scene, and quality wise this release just proves that.

Keep up the good work maven, and all the rest, your work is appreciated by us all. Rizel

Agreed!
I'll say 8/8/5 this isnt their best video, and it still is very nice.
