Like an 80min movie and no extras and still it had to be recoded? Sounds kinda lame to me, think I'll wait and do this on my own. Funky Maxbitrate 8770k, probably used doitfastcce on auto pilot/default settings. Cant complain on the quality of the video, anything that high will look good with a small runtime. Overkill if you ask me.

8/10/6 (from the sample)

No real complaints, just would have done it different.

only thing i didnt get on this release is i mean the movie is only like 80mins long and they stripped alle xtras and re encoded the video... you would think if they were sripiing the extras video could go untouched or if they were re encoding the video they could have left some of the extras

This site here shows the cover and what's on the retail DVD: http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=11764

The movie's only 86 mins long. I agree also that they should have put a few extras on too.

I haven't got this release yet but I'll have a look around it when I do. Some extras could still be on there. The bit in the nfo where is says "Menu: Disabled links to removed content" got me thinking. They may have just removed a few buttons but left the odd VOB or two on the DVD. I'm only guessing, I could be be wrong.

Could someone do a thorough check of every menu and VOB please?

Posted by JoshNya on 08-13-2004 02:47 AM:

Well I decided to take a look

They were nice enough to leave in the opening trailers.

Movie vobs are:
3.49 GB (3,756,662,784 bytes)

Extras vobs are:
895 MB (939,458,560 bytes)

All extras ARE on the disc, but they deleted the button so you can't play them.

WHY?

Cause they dont work.

So they recoded the video for nothing.
and ya have a gig of worthless vobs.

What a waste of BW.

Rock is Cool.

Checked 37:08 and yup, mass square effect just as the Rock got into his truck to leave to the casino after the kid OD.

It's what happens when ya use too many resources while encoding (or) encoding on a bad HD.

Even made a screenshot of it.

I just discovered this glitch myself but my copy had the REPACK iND patch applied. Did you apply any of the iND patches?
