that was Centropy's SVCD I think you mean. It was good but a little bright. As far as Telesync's go it was great.
This is the same source obviously as the TUN SVCD and is better than the Telesync.
As far as video goes, it is really nice. But it's the audio that really shines on this release. Everything is really great about how it sounds.
Of course I dunno technical stuff with 5.1, DTS, blah blah, since I just run it through the DVD player connected to the TV. No sound system here....
9/10/9 (I really found myself enjoying this movie each time I see it)

Anyway this looks like it could be a tad grainy from pic, anyone confirm?
Cheers
It's ok, he registered on the forums only to make that one post.. typical idiot.
Needless to say, the quality and sound are quite good. This release definitely is worth it over CTP's if you want better sound and a slightly better picture.
I registered on the forums so I could reply to some of the posts I saw. I don't get the sample as I am on a 56k and unlike a lot of the users on here I actually buy the DVD (Don't know why as the money doesn't go to the groups who really deserve it).
I would appreciate it if you didn't call me a idiot purely because it's my first post, and I'm sorry if I got the release group the wrong way around.

wow, hmm getting it right know. This fits on a DVD right?
As a followup, it would have been nice if Meteor had perhaps put some real chapter stops in, instead of just doing one every 5 minutes. A little menu woulda been creative... but I'm just spoiled from the Harry Potter 3 TC.DVD I guess.
Still the best release out there, video is excellent, sound is amazing. vote stays same, just wish it was better than "every 5 minutes chapter mark"... that screams 'automated program'.

The nfo file says AC3......I thought that was the same as 5.1 sound but unfortunately no 5.1 sound on this release.
Still a great release

Great release, shame audio not 5.1

Hope to see more TC to dvdr as dvdrs are dirt cheap now (20p UK) and you dont have to swap the disc while watching the movie
It's really not hard to make a SVCD or DiVX release into a DVD. It's as easy as using flask mpeg to join the mpeg's together and then DVD Author to create the DVD files.
Again, this is a nice release of I,Robot.. just wish it was 5.1

Got this, put it in my standalone and it looks frikkin' great. Props to Meteor for a fine release. Judge the video from your computer screens if you want, it looks good, but it looks so much better on your tv set. Cool audio, not great but good.
Enjoyed the movie.
