Now that the fix is out and the subs are selectable, can anyone tell me if the English are for the hearing impaired?

Patch has been released and it works fine, video looks a bit blocky on my lcd tho
There is now a fix out for this release, though I am not sure what the original problem was.
why ntsc saosin ? Obviously, if coded from the same house, pal had the better pic quality.
nfo
"k movie didnt play for alot of people, including me,
scream didnt remove alot of puops so u couldnt change
subs.
appy the fix and movie will jump straight to menu and all u
people that want subs will now be able to select between
German and English"
Straight from fix nfo.

Apply fix and movie will jump straight to menu.
Yes it does have english for the hearing impaired selectable after the patch is applied
seems to be disc 1 of a 2 disc retail
only movie no extras at all on this release 3 button menu
play movie, chapter selection, language selection
this is the rip of the retail rc2 PAL dvd with english language, which is officially in stores tomorrow. as well as the svcd and the xvid release. dont know why you talk about 2005 retail dates in every troy thread.
the fix
The orginal img was working perfect for me. Strange that so many need the fix to play this movie.
The group did a perfect job if you ask me.
no need for the insult in the fix nfo. that dude is just plain rude

WTF!
I have patched this movie with he indie patched and the second patch yet, on my Toshiba RDSX32 DVD recorder, my Kiss DVD Player, my Xcard and Power DVD it stutters alot and has the odd encoding glitch.
anyone else have this problem?
There was indeed a problem with the MENU of this release. the extras were ripped yet the menu remained. There seemed to be a problem with the VTS during the compression process. However if the .img is mounted to a virtual drive, it can be re-processed and have its menu stripped, resulting in a perfectly working copy.
I used Daemon tools to mount the IMG and CloneDVD to create a fixed ISO.
The subs are also fixed after this process.
Video quality is "ok" for a DVDR, but does look very nice on a hardware decoder.
