Probably one of the worst screeners or the worst ive seen.
Blurry/Dark/Annoying watermarks and B&W parts.
I can only call it as i see it :P. Also SVCD format is overkill.
I respect all groups out there especially VideoCD , but this release is not worth the download.

Shutup. Kthx. (and it's being nuked for bad.quality - which isn't a legit nuke).

This screener is very very crappy. I'm sorry i have to say this, but all you people that are in love with this group will just have to deal with it.

In the sample there's black lines going up and down the left side of the screen. Big blurry ass bar at the bottom. And on top of that, there's a big ass white watermark at the top. The picture on this almost looks "greenish" - hell, maybe it is. Sound is good though. Shame that it's so crappy and 3CDS, yes, three. Generally, screeners are 2 cds no matter what. Doesn't matter if the movie is 2 hours long.

Oh, i compared the telesync & this release. The telesync had a better picture .. sound was about the same. I would pass on this release if i were you. Seen the movie or not, it isn't worth it. This is one of the crappiest screners i have ever seen.

::edit:: And one thing that confuses me .. the WastedTime screeners averaged what, 7-8 on video, and you guys are rating this a 6? No way in hell. If this gets a 6, the wastedtime ones need a 12 - cause they're definately 2x better. But i do agree, if i had this first, i would release it. So props on the effort put into this one.

The problem is, that the TS was great, so to be better than that, a screener would have to be very well done.

I was initially pleased this was SVCD, as VCD ruins VHS, but this rip dissapointed me.

Folks, I must have a different release than you, this seems like an average VHS screener to me as of late, I'd compare it to HaFVCD's Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind.........

this has a little bit less colour, I'd guess maybe a higher generation dub of the tape..... or maybe it's an original tape that is damaged or just poor quality, at any rate, colours are a bit lacking......

and bars? where the fuck are these bars?

shit at the bottom? I've watched this on a standalone, my puter with various software DVD players, AND my realmagic DVD card.....I see no bars...??

they all played a FS image for me with no bars, no empty space at the bottom.....

perhaps the encode is fucked as madaxion suggested and my players simply can play it despite poor encode......

at any rate...

I couldn't have said it better myself. Although atleast the subtitles are in English. Don't know what happened on this release, but No than, i'll pass. VideoCD

video is nothing specail kinda Blaaa. sound is not any improvment over past releases, i found the sound kind jumped i guess thats the best way to discribe it. nuked alot for quality even though thats not valid, but the release is not worth the time

I'm also seeing it nuked for interlacing, yet when watching in powerdvd and windows media player, I fail to see the white bars as in other interlaced releases that I've got. Furthermore, the colors are about the same as the TS, audio is a bit weird in the sample though ... but not through the entire release. Props to having english subtitles ... as the maVen release did not, but they've gotten better with the Sky Captain release

Anyways, props VideoCD, saying the screener is bad quality is pointless, it's analog to digital conversion ... not going to be the best quality around. As I stated previously I don't see the interlacing ... but who knows, it could be there and I'm not seeing it. It's like telling Wastedtime to not release their screeners because a TC is already out ... if you got it, release it ... and stop bitching

Yeah im waiting for a decent release of this too.

I stupidly watched the FRA cam a few months back, wish i didnt now.

Ive just got the first one the other day, and i want to watch them both back to back.

I so wanted this to be a good release, ah well, im hoping for a DVD Screener or at least a TC soon.

I'll just hold on to my two svcd versions one english and one french until a decent telecine or dvdrip or retail...because lately the extreme watermarks that arrive on some of the screeners is rediculous..full screen and a waste of svcd, especially when it didn't really approve the video..

5/7/9 movie was great but needed more action.

videocds sharks tale was nacked!!. as for the group its self. they are slowly going down hill, even quicker than "eddie the eagle".
what a shame as they were one of the best for telesyncs.this is def not one of their best ones.
