Strange i got the dvd working another way by simply replacing the 4.3 menu with the 16.9 so it forces the film to play the 16.9 version.

Can anyone tell if this patch does the same as ive already burnt this film 3 dam times.

FWIW, this patch does appear to be 100% Working. It's just not 100% Perfect.

If you press the Menu button before the Menu comes up, you'll be in loopback hell, as it tries to play Standard. If you wait for the menu to come up or press your next chapter button, you should be fine.
