I'm really appreciating this group. The quality on the Sky Captain reencode was pretty good although the sound was sadly out of sync on disc 1.

As far as i know Cartel releases aren't re-encodes of Maven/VideoCD SVCD releases, and this cerainly isn't, this is smoother and sharper, plus the 5.1 sound is very sweet, and it looks in sync so far.

Might be so good as a result of going straight to xvid from the source rather than via SVCD???

I found it hard to believe its a TS until seeing someone walk past on the screen

Yes the quality is good but not as good as a DVDrip. Saw it in the cinema first before this release came out, the colours in the cinema are mutch brighter and the picture is way sarper.

there's no way TS can be as good as DVDRip but this's very good for TS release

This is my fist post and first Cartel release. Missed the COLLATERAL release and am now kickin myself for it.

The video is excellent nice and crisp.
Audio is AC-3 enuff said.

9/9/9 (loved dis movie neva seen a fish act so black!) LOL

Did anyone have any probs with this one? when i try to decode it, it has some bad frames or is that just due to my download?
