Hi,

Cant believe that this is rated 7.5 on the main page, its a dvd rip people. Can't get better then that.

Not much to say on the quality, other then its a DVD RIP, so quality is damn near perfect.

Uhh... asinine comment of the week award right there...

If every SVCD DVD rip was automatically a 10/10, why would they bother having ratings in place? Did you actually *see* the release? Or are you just voting 10/10 because of the release tag? What if a group releases a 3CD or DVD-R... what'll you vote that? 11?

Anyway, pretty good rip of a very enjoyable movie. This'll tide me over until a DVD-R surfaces.

V: 8.5 - a bit of motion blur, but overall very nice and vivid.
A: 8 - highest I'll give for only 2 channels
M: 9 - great sequel

Hi,

I did see the sample, and I am burning the release as we speak. IMO to me that a DVD RIP cannot be rated below 8, unless a total screwup job by the encoder.

I will agree with you, this will hold me over until a DVD-R surfaces.

BTW, thanks for the award......

i Agree on the pic, not the best ive seen, but whats to be expected with the length of the movie.

Bit harsh on the Audio though, SVCD for 90% of people can only have 2 channels, you cant compare it to a DVD thats hardly fair.
If you did the pic would only get 5 or 6.

How do i check a sample?

Sorry for the newb question guys, my first post. How can I check the sample before downloading the whole thing to find out i don't like it? Thanks in advance guys.

[Edit:: In a nutshell... You can't easily get samples without being reasonably high up the food-chain. I deleted your other post asking how to get samples, please read the rules - Neversoft]

I just watched the entire release, beginning to end on my stand alone DVD player. Great color, great audio. No motion blur whatsoever. Absolutely nothing wrong with the release.

Hi,

I believe the XVID was pre'd just before the dvd-r, but I may be wrong. Thanks for the info, and yes I did get the dvd-r when it was pre'd. Svcd, XVID, and DVD-R, all I have.
