NTSC

Please can someone tell me what NTSC means and can you also tell me if Mainconcept MPEG encoder will convert a DVDR *NTSC* to a VCD?

Thank you

PAL/NTSC - what you need to know

Why would you want to convert a DVDR to VCD? No DVD burner?

Never The Same Colour.

(or National Television Standards Committee if you want to be pedantic.)

NTSC

No, I haven't got a DVD burner!

I am very new to all this and have only ever used Mainconcept MPEG encoder to convert anything!

I don't think I'm smart enough to use anything else!!!!!!

Looks like I will have to wait until a different version of the film is availaible!

Thanks anyway

How about downloading the SVCD of the movie? Saves you tons of bandwidth (aka "transfer") and you can burn to CD with a couple mouse clicks.
