Judging by the sample I just watched id give this about an 8V 10A ?M I havnt seen the movie yet and like always i wont comment on the movie story anyways.

This scr itself is pretty watchable, Its a full screen screener with no watermarks that ive noticed so far save the transparent studio logo mentioned in the nfo

The video is a bit blurry but still nice and watchable, this will definatly suite most untill the dvdrip is out

this looks pretty good for a vhs screener. It has a small watermark but it's very unobtrusive. 8/8/x

Based on sample nice release pretty much the same as AVP release except the watermark but good picture and audio! um film dont give a crap as i watched it in movie house and it was crap not my kind of movie.

Video and sound were pretty good for a vhs screener, but that was the single worst piece of crap for a movie I have ever witnessed. I will never recover those minutes from my life. How in the #&%@$ is that pile of junk considered a horror film!?! It wasn't even a good attempt at a romance.... M. Knight Shamalamadingdong should never, EVER be allowed to make another film. EVER!

saw the sample but won't get full release..props to wastedtime for another great screener..

movie was boo boo..I think my telesync will hold off. terrible terrible movie.

8/8/1 movie made no sense and just went off, it didn't end. I don't think they could have ended such a b.s story. poorly written and very misleading from the trailers.

The Movie was great!!!!!! there are a number of twists that keep you in your seats and watching. The Director, had some points that would normally not workin today's world... but lets not forget it's a MOVIE!!!!

If you wish to wait for a DVD-RIP; then do so.. otherwise this is as good as you need

Another fine Screener by Wastedtime. Too bad the movie was terrible. Nice pic and sound, but i'm NEVER watching this movie again. TOO damn SLOW. Terrible Ending

Everyone has there own opinions... but I rekon dis was a really good movie. If you don't get M. Night Shyamalan, man he's just too good for you. The ending was awesome, dude how could you possibly see that coming.

Back to the rating,

Video - Standard vhs screener. Bit of blur as per usual. And has transparent watermark as stated in nfo.

Audio - Very Good audio. (Compared to that crappy ts audio i had to go through to watch the movie.) Thinkin' bout it makes me wanna strangle someone GGRRR!

By the way Wastedtime have been on a role lately. Major props. LOL like they even read these forums.

[EDIT:: For what it's worth, I guess the "twist" about 45mins into The Village and I was drunk and stoned at the time. He's not THAT good a writer - Neversoft]

Very watchable on standalone. Typical screener quality, but audio was excellent. Didn't see the TS.

I felt there was some intentional misdirection in the trailers which added to the twist at the end. Seems alot of people went into this thing expecting a dark creature flick, but I found it strange and interesting enough to hold my attention to the end. Sweet flick.

Maybe it was just me but IMO the picture and sound were meh! Maybe its my standalone, amp and projector! Doubt it tho!

Video was pretty good, audio was also relatively clear. But the movie? Ahh it sucked so much, you could tell after only a short time that the monsters were fake, an after a few convo's it was clear that it was modern day.
