I didn't have a looping problem in the first place on mine. Guess that's what I get for buying a crappy Apex dvd player. Few problems or Headaches.

Is this really necessary tested in philips dvp 642 no loop problems with out the patch.

Patch fixed the loop problem for playback in PowerDVD but not for playback on my standalone (philips DVD 727). My player has never given me any trouble.

Tested same disk (patch applied) on Philips DVD 724 and it works properly.

It seems like this disk after the patch is just working on some standalones but not on others.

Hope for another patch soon.
