cool release-picture and sound first rate-nothing bad to report-these dvd screeners are so cool just a shame they'll grind to a halt once oscar season is over

Release date

Fixed release date for this dvd is may 28, or at least for canada. This is in response to the nfo.

Lord of the Rings and Monster's Inc. I believe were also 2-pass and they ROCKED! This release doesn't play choppy for me at all, have you tried it on your standalone? Also plays fine on my pc, 550Mhz 128MB RAM Pentium 3 w/ PowerDVD 4.0 XP Deluxe.

I personally think we'll see more dvd scr still down the road.. yes they are done for award nomination shows and what not, but i think studios are realizing that the few extra bucks they pull out of their 100 million dollar asses for dvd promotions are well worth it for all of their promos.

I mean... when was it... traffic was a dvd promo and was the talk of the scene for days. This year there are tons, not just a few, and i think we'll see more because of it.

Talking Compare?

How would you compare this dvd screener to the centropy release? I have the centropy release pretty good. Worth the 3 cd's?

Posted by yogi on 02-09-2002 10:04 AM:

mate telesync doesn't compare to dvd screener

Posted by bigfella on 02-13-2002 02:10 AM:

Yeah I have to agree, It seems that a few of these dvd screeners do judder in a standalone dvd player but when played in power dvd they run perfect. Well I'm not complaining anyway :)

Is that right then, these dvd screeners will be over after the bollox oscars?
