It's great that they released the ending, but I would have preferred a repack. Time to fire up TMPGEnc. -=\

Posted by skindog on 11-04-2004 09:30 PM:

TMPG only recognizes CD 1 and CD 2 at 29 mins long, i have 6 diff versions and all the same, but whne i play it any player it plays fine and recognizes them at the correct time. Confuzed ?????

Thanks VideoCD. Would have liked a REPACK more, since it makes more sense, but this will have to do.

Well, My first post. Note to self today I popped my cherry, it's a celebration bitchs. Thanks to Video cd for putting this out. Doin a repack would have made the bandwidth impaired bitchy fer sure. And wow what a great horror flick. One of the best endings I've seen since the Usual Suspects or the Sixth Sense. You read thier NFO and they sound mighty pissed. 8 / 8.5 /10

Thanks Videocd, I honestly appreciate what you have done, and unlike the other people, asking for a repack, I think you guys did a fantastic job. My friend says you guys are great, and I think you are great. Keep up the great work.

You would rather download the whole Second CD again, rather than a 13mb fix.

I know it requires a bit of work, but this way is definetly easy.

Posted by Tyranthaxis on 11-04-2004 10:58 PM:

/agree
this way was easier.
edited and merged with last mpeg,...Tmpgenc'd and walla.
repacks are a waste of BW.
Thanks VideoCD

TMPGenc to merge, works like a champ.

V=7.5 (little washed out)
A=8
M=8.5

Red face Actually ...

I think VideoCD has some nerve to criticize another group for trying to CORRECT their mistake! Had VideoCD did the shyt right the 1st time around, we wouldn't have needed a PROPER or REPACK....

Don't get mad and curse another group for YOUR f*ck-up!

Posted by ou812 on 11-05-2004 02:58 AM:

Let's see, If I hadn't d/l this movie yet I would have too....

VideoCD release:
Find and download 3 parts. The main movie, a file fix, and the complete ending. Then put it all together with various mpg tools (cut/paste) and then burn.

SG18 release:
Download and burn, its already complete.

You make the call, hehe

PS: who cares if they are the same source, I just wanted to d/l and watch without the hassle. If VideoCD was any good they shouldnt have fumbled the ball (not once but twice on this release).

Posted by alexnasty on 11-05-2004 03:06 AM:

The thing is this, this is actually the best quality movie SG18 ever produced but it was not their source. It was VideoCd's source and they do have a right to complain about it because SG18 basically stold their source and propered it.

We all knew that VideoCD would respond to their error at some point, SG18 should not have done what they did.

Let them produce their own source that matches all the quality that we have seen from videocd and then they can talk.

I gotta say, I Fully agree with ya on this one! This does however have nice quality on the full release ( now that I FINALLLYY have the TS of it) Lets hope this isn't a "soon to be" habit of mistakes or repacks or endfixes or what the hell ever.. Thanx for the release dont get me wrong.. but if it needs fixed. do so .. or STOP bitching about some one else helping those out that WANT the file in its full form.
