great colours, great sound, great release, from sample it looks like one of the best telecines ive seen

9/9/8

Posted by XAVeRY on 11-20-2004 03:55 PM:

if you've got the telesync keep it, telecine wasn't needed in my opinion, because the VideoCD"s TS was very good indeed

9/9/6 anyway

Great release :-)
lot better than telesync! as said before guy gets up half way through movie, telesync also slips in and out of sync on 2nd disc.
would give it 9/9/5 (great quality crap film!)

it is kinda late, the movie has been out for a long time and the TS that was already out was good enough, thats why he said if you have the TS don't bother, but i guess if you are desperate to see this old movie and can't wait the few weeks for the dvdrip then by all means get this version.

I dont think he did mean the DVD, and if he did then hes a bit slow, cause its not anywhere near a DVD release anywhere, we wouldn't all be praising a TC if it was.

As for this its very good for a TC, colours are lovely and sound is good, but im perfectly happy with the Cartel TS of this until a DVD-Rip is out.

9/9/7

im getting this one since the sound slips out on the telesync!!!!

well if youve actually watched a tun telecine you would know that most of them are good quality. troy, day after tomorrow, raising helen: all good quality tc's. but the scene likes to bash tun, and then people like you like to listen, and then follow in their footsteps. if you actually watched one TC that tun produced on a standalone player you would see a good quality tc.

1) "this release is kinda late" = shut up and die, it's the best quality version out until a dvdrip and you obviously didn't look at the dvd release date. And please don't just assume that centr0pee would get a pre dvd.

2) The TS was watchable but not comparable to this tc. Whoever thinks that is lacking in brain matter. Videocd did a good job as usual, but you probably didn't compare samples before commenting, or even watch the vcd release? TS are a whole different ball field. Running it through a telecine machine takes a while, and also finding a telecine source takes a while, the machines can be expensive aswell so not many people have them, and actually getting access to the reel is quite the bitch. So I say congrats to TUN for getting this release out whether it be through wayland changs silver emporium in thailand or jon smith the guy who cleans stalls in nebraska's theatre.

Just to make it clear, coz this reads a bit strage.

hes Talking about the TS here ^^^

it would be near inpossable to walk past the screen on a TC. LOL

This print is MINT, Yes TS was good but this TC is Much better.
svcd would have been nice, wouldnt surprize me if we saw a dvd from this TC
wouldnt go a miss
