Movie was shot mostly on digital film, which accounts for the incredible sharpness and true colours. Though I think it gives it sort of an "amateur camera" look.

There are some blockiness in scenes with much movement though, too bad.

Very nice movie - best from Hollywood since Troy.

2.40:1 ratio? doesn't that sound wrong for most hollywood films, shouldn't it be 2.35, meaning a 640x272 res? can anyone plz check if the ar is screwed?

Everything looks great in this movie, i would have given it a perfect score but nothing in this world is prfect.. only me.

so 9.9/9.9/10 great movie!

hmm any1 can comment on the aspect ratio? as 640/256 is 2.5

Taken from Collateral-DEiTY NFO:

Widescreen anamorphic - 2.40:1 but closer to a 2.50:1 after cropping out the black boarders. Anyway Enjoy !

Surprisingly blockiness is apparent even though it's super-widescreen and not that long a movie. Not much wrong with the choice of a 2CD rip. Maybe it's just one of those movies with only a few of those difficult to encode scenes.

Question..

Is there any part of the movie that is non-English? (a scene where someone talks another language)..

I'm asking to know if we need the subtitles or not..

Posted by FrightfoO on 06-22-2005 09:53 AM:

There is a small part at the beginning of the movie where I was wondering there could be forced sub's. It's when Max is talking by the petrol station, but maybe it's not something that significant.
