-- New site version! (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=50953)
New site version!
K so, new version, most of the launch bugs have been ironed out.
The new site features 3 Stylesheets you can choose from, "Grunge/Red" which is the default one currently, "Sleek/Blue", and "Classic" , which is pretty much the old style.
Later on we'll just set up a vote once i've ironed out the bugs, and set up every feature the old site had
Feature loss list:
* vcdreview needs to be incorporated.
Also, If anyone is clever and knows how to design sites via CSS, feel free to create your own theme and submit it to me, if its not crap, i'll add it in! (Be sure to account for banners and such!)
If anyone can point out site breaking bugs , or even a minor one, that'd be grreeeat..
Later on we'll set up a poll deciding upon the default stylesheet! Mob rule for the masses!
Hokay, enjoy!

I think it looks a little takcy, especally the top bit that says VCDQUALITY.
But then someone worked hard for it, and I dont come here to see how pretty the site looks so i got no complaints :P
Nice change!!
One question however....are the console rip sections gone for good?
I like it
you need to change the background color or change the color of the text for movies/group/release date etc on the mainpage, it's impossible to read. white text on a light grey background is not good! other than that, the redesign is a+ in my books
No liking it
No longer displays number of new posts/addiotions under each section.

Yup Looks Real Good :-)
colour scheme
Change is good but i wouldn't have used the colour scheme, a little to dark and not easily read.
But a change is always good
Not sure if I like it or not, but who cares, the site will still achieve the same purpose
Old style way better imo, but my opinion doesn't mean shit here.

the exception of the video tilt
if video was striaghter i'd give it a higher rating..
My rating is based on a TS..not camparing it to anyother type of release.. e.g. cam,dvd rip, screener, etc... -Quote by Naught1
nice wheels
yea i liked that kickass picture that used to be at the top, but well, the look of a site such as this isnt gonna stop one from using it
but oh no, the old style is now something you can choose to use!
Now all your whining about the new style can cease.

Who Cares... You can skin it to the classic version and as dwaggy said you can make your own and if "meets requirements" He'll add it! Sweet shit, been waiting for this!
Time to whip out notepad and PS.

Cheers,
LG

Two words
FUCK YES!
Life is about change. It looks ok to me. I'm looking forward to some more styles being made as well.

<3 grey and red scheme
I like the new design and the ability to make skins for the page. The new standart looks quite good, but not perfect, rating 8/10
I saw a year ago a poll on the site for a new site design, and the advise to mail ideas. I made sth., but where too lazy to finish it and drop a mail. My concept was to make a simple design that is based on the original, but without the boring grey in grey colors.
Here is what i made, it's quite old, from 08-07-03

Perhaps you can use it. If you are interested pm me and copy the colors with photoshop into the CSS style and I send you the banner of the top, cause I've got no clue of CSS atm.
