Yes this release is real , not sure where to find it thou. Just finished watching this.

Picture DVDSource obviously , no black & white marks like most DVDScreeners , every 15 minutes theres a "For the Purpose of Screening etc" which pops up for a few seconds. Widescreen. Sounds perfect.

This movie was pretty good , kind of disturbing. They say in this movie people (western people in north america) will watch the news , see the massacares in rwanda , say "Damn thats bad" , then go back to eating their dinners. In reality this is true , when i watch this movie i cant believe how Western and European forces turned their backs on people in need.

Very good movie , truth sucks ... always heard storys of rwanda but never actually got to see what happened.

8/9/7

yeah this movie looks intense. makes you think a hell of a lot. it seems the scrolling text means that this was sourced from a dvd-academy-screener...at least that's waht i think, with awards approaching and whatnot...what you guys think?

So-- is this the first official Academy Screener of the holiday season, then?

Where Are the Rest???

Maybe the MPAA knew what it was doing, after all, in filing lawsuits against file sharers last month. Academy Screeners were disseminated well over a week ago and I've yet to see a single one.

Hotel Rwanda doesn't really classify as such because it's a Lion's Gate release. And as you may remember from last year, LG releases like The Cooler and Wonderland were DVD screeners instead of VHS screeners because Lion's Gates sends outs its Academy prospects independently of the MPAA. It's also safe to assume that LG doesn't waste its time and money coding their screeners. They're too small an outfit.

Anyone know if this will play on DivX standalones? If they used QPEL it won't play on the 642.

I want to know this too. The music is LOUD but I barely hear a single person.

I can't hear them at all when there is music playing in the back while they speak.

[EDIT:: Install AC3 - Neversoft]
