HMM...
I didn't get this release. Maybe the NFO is wrong, but everything in it spells horror.
163 minute movie + DTS!! And they even bothered with extras (20 meg trailer)... So, lets take a quick peek at the bit rate (since they didn't bother mentioning it).
The DTS track alone will be around 960 megs. This leaves around 3.36 gigs for the video and menu. Assuming the menu is around 300 megs, we'll have an even approx 3 gigs for video.
This would make the video around a 2400kbit/sec. HMM... IMO for an action movie that is low. Almost sounds like a SVCD.
The other eye catcher was that this release is full screen?!
Probably will look super on a 27"
Well sample even looks horrible on my 17" LCD .. so highly unlikely it would look any better on my TV.
Yeah they should be ashamed to even release this.
Oh no a 20mb trailer...when most are 50mb for a 2 min one.
It's funny you say it looks like crap, when it looks pretty good
on my 19" for something that should be a low bitrate.
The sample is an action scene at that. The only thing
that was odd is the fact the audio in the sample
was Dolby 5.1 not DTS...they could have fudged the nfo.
Anyhoot 8/10/x
p.s. Its not fullscreen... heh
heh yeah, its widescreen
i still dont see why they didnt just stript the trailer, they even encoded it..
pretty decent rip though, think ill just keep the R3 myself
8/10/8

The menus for this appear to be in some other language. It is not the American R1 disc that is for sure.
