Seems a good release from 3 rars ive looked at so far, the quality doesn't look as good as the bitrate suggests though, which makes me think they should of kept some extras or a commentary, but im not bothered anyway, and if the film is as shit as everyone says it is, i wouldn't want to watch the extras anyway.

9/9/?

agree with you there ;p

8/9/4 i stop watching it halfway through, so i guess its not a "Real" rating, but i doubt it would get any better

Yeah the VHS Screeners and TS's were much better.
This is as good as every other downsampled DVDR release, and this has obviously come from a very high bitrate DVD.
I really dont see what the problem is.

Ur both NUTZ..The VHS screener sucked hardcore balls..2nd generation horseshit copy, FS,Cropped,Blurry, and dont get me started on the sound. and the TS was dark as hell..This is R4 Pal source DVDR and NOT a Pdvd.(Of this i'm about 90% sure). And probably as good as ur likely to get till Retail Rip. Take it or Leave it..Too bad the movie blows ass

If Ya Need It NOW

Good early rls first off. Quality isnt as good as the bitrate would suggest but I think thats proably b/c of the source. Definitly not retail R1 and imho unlikely it's even retail R4. Homemade menu. The movie wasnt that bad but also wasnt that good.

More like a 4 or 5weeks till R1 pres.. I'll wait..

AVP Availability: This item will be released on January 25, 2005.

Posted by Mongoloid on 12-08-2004 02:58 PM:

It's a rental, which we have seen before.. aka retail video.. sucky menu.

The videostream wont differ from the street-retail, so if u dont care about the menu, u could just as well go for this one.

Posted by solidusuk on 12-08-2004 03:44 PM:

yeah the sample is grainy, I dunno if the original source is meant to be like that but its nothing special.

Posted by cadillact on 12-08-2004 10:29 PM:

Not bad at all

I thought this release looked very good on my tv. I dont have a big-screen so. Clear picture and nice colors. Sound was nice too.

BUT I have a feeling like all big hyped movies that there will be a director's cut or an unrated version of this one as well.

BUT untill then this version will do just fine.

OK, you obviously have no concept of sarcasm, did anyone elses take that seriously
It also looks like you dont have this, as this is NTSC, not PAL.

Please dont insult yourself..U were NOT being sarcastic and Like I care whether or NOT u think i have this release...It was raced, i looked it over and passed on it. That being said..ITs not a Region 1 Retail and the source is unknown to be R4..Just cuz they say its a duck dont make it a duck its under investigation..I will wait for the DVDR R1 retail if at all..Movie sucked..ENJOY!!

I am L33T LOL..Who cares (THATS Sarcasm) and a joke NOT a flame.

Nice comment on the release SARCASM!!

As for the release..Looking more and more like a HomeMade menu, much like the Day After Tomorrow NOn-Retail..Still predict a nuke once a R3 or R4 tries to pre, although scream does have alot of pull in the scene, so i guess its a wait and see scenario.. and i'm 3 for 3 this week on NUKES.and NO i wont' be quiet. Read the Rules moron err i mean fellow colleauge. pz out

Posted by pedantics on 12-10-2004 05:21 AM:

haha picky scenesters. who gives a fuck about the menu, the video is crisp and clean. I can't see how any rls (apart from maybe a directors cut) could possibly make this one not worth getting.

9/10/5
(not a bad action/scifi, but does no justice to either franchises)
