Good to see something new from maVen
Looking at the sample its not their best TS , however its a damn good release. Framerate looks a little weird and when its got dark scenes its hard to see.
7/8/?
Anyway who cares its free and they always deliver
Good work

looks to bright according to the sample
so my raking is only from the sampl
7/7/* will se it in the cinema tomorow

Posted by Horton on 12-13-2004 10:50 PM:

Sample looks pretty bright. colors a bit washed too. in the sample when he runs down the stairs theres alot of pixelation, and theres alot of motion blur in the action scene [like whe nhe runs down he stairs in he sample] - audio is fine [like usual]

6.5/9/x

liked the first one, so im sure ill get this too.

8/8/na

Posted by cUnt on 12-13-2004 10:58 PM:

Only watched the sample.
But I have to agree, it's a bit grainy, and a bit too bright so outdoor scenes look really bad.

Sound has a hiss to it but not too bad.

7/8/*

release seems ok from sample, nothing to camplain about
besides, it's free

9/9

bright? maybe you're on acid or something? (or maybe it's just me or my monitor?)

This release is solid. The video is a bit funky, almost washed a bit, with some motion blur/pixely in dark scenes. But still better than any other release. Sound is your typical maven sound, very nice. Keepem coming I like it.....

7.5/8/7

been i while from maven
still good picture 7
still good sound 8
not got it all yet (movie) ? 20mins left

let hope the TWAT FACTOR isnt involved in this

[QUOTE] from Arthur Daily

whats the Twat Factor i hear you say?

Well the Twat Factor is where one or more TWATS feal the need to get up or bob about IN SHOT whyle a movie is playing.

for me this stuff isnt a real problem but for some its Real off putting and i can only guess that this hasnt been said yet because as normal most posters havent seen the whole movie before posting.

It must be a real kick in the nuts for the Cam dude to take the risk in Camming this for us only to have a moe moe Twat bobbing up n down or his m8 stand directly in the frame.

Da END

Posted by Arthur Daily on 12-13-2004 11:39 PM:

lol thaks for the Quote,

only reasion i go on about these twats so much is its there inabilaty
to sit the feck down and watch a film.

for example, when I watch a film the volume is high.
not because im mutton, its because i wanna get the most from a soundtrack.
the Ambient Sound Effects, and music score.
imo the soundtrack to a movie is inportant.
also i switch off the phone, theres nothing worse than stopping watching a movie and comming back to it later.
for me this breaks the continuity of a movie.

ive been speaking to friends in the past about a wicked movie that they too have seen, and they thourt it was crap.
or they just didnt get wot the film was on about.

basicly they missed what the movie was trying to say.
its inportant to immerse yourself in a movie and get right into it.
without the missus moaning theres no hot water.
or worse still in the cinema, Some twat comming in 5 mins late and then slate the movie when he/she spent half the time yapping to there m8.

anyhoo, on to this releace....

picture is workable and a great inprovment on the last one.
sound it Bang on the money.

movie itself is a follow on the the 1st part and dosent try to better it.
it dosent spend any time building the characters and hopes the viewers
at least saw the 1st part where all that took place.

its not a stand alone movie imo
you HAVE to watch the 1st part at least
recently to get the most from this one.

its by no means $hit, just not as WOW as the 1st one.

remember the 1st one was a remake of a classic.

im gonna watch this rls propperly when the house is quiet.

ill give this Rls the Thumbs up for now and will only edit this post if theres any major feck-ups

True! Not the best release maVen has done but i think we may take that view as maVen set the standards so high with the
previous releases and now we have all come to expect near dvd quality from maVen. How ever this rls is still top quality and lets face it, the best svcd release in a long while.

I dont think the sample chosen was the best part of the video footage to choose as the sun reflecting on the stairs and the
single camera man following behind, bumping up and down make it very hard to judge from sample. How ever looking over cd 1
it is still good maVen quality and as said maybe not his best due to the high standards set previously but still way ahead.

Well done maVen hope your back to stay i for one have missed you.

Posted by K-FurY on 12-14-2004 12:18 AM:

great ts, pic is a bit washed out/grainy/faded, but doesnt look like much is cropped, just abit from the right side judging by the opening credits/logos. sound is flawless, dts and in sync, so no problems their. havent seen the movie yet, will watch after i finish grabbing this.

7/9/x

This is a great release..... for people that watch the sample it is misleading download a rar and open it up and watch it in VLC Media Player...... I want to point one thing about why maven is "that good" They put in the text that would be cut off.... EX "First Thrusday 13days ending"...... Great Release

8/8/7.5

i dunno if its cut off, i think its just they cap french prints so they translate it for their releases which really shows that they put alot of effort into them.
