-- The Merchant of Venice *Limited* *SVCD* - DVD SCR - TEG-VCD (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=51616)
I have been waiting to see this movie for a long time now. Surprised to see that Al Pacino is the main star in this limited movie, but it looks as if he has done a great job. As for the quality, it's pretty nice..gotta love TEG and their screener source.
8/8/?
ya this was a nice release, maybe where i got it from, but cd's seem misslabled cd1 is actually 2 and cd 3 is actually 1 , but anyway its great, sound is nice and clear, video has good color, and is a sharp pic. im surprised that the lines from the movie stayed so close to the actuall play!
9/9/8

Cd's muddled a bit for me too, cd2 is cd3,cd1 is cd2 and cd3 is cd1, anyway excellent quality, from flicking thru no obvious watermarks/ B/w scenes although until fully watched I cannot say definetly. 9/9/?
Proper quality, I watched the whole film and it has neither watermarks or B/W scenes. The onlt thing stopping it from being perfect is that the screen is not quite full size but this does not detract from the film in any way. The script is done in a Shakesperian style so if you are expecting a Hollywood remake style think again.
I would go with 9/9/9
