Unknown format for The Incredibles DVDR
I just downloaded The Incredibles DVDR, in a tar, and when I extracted the file, it contained one file named The.Incredibles.DVDScreener.DVDR-BooZerS but with no suffix or format (like .img, .nrg, .iso, etc.) I tried a few different ones (including the ones listed) and will try to think of more, but could anyone take a guess as to what format it's most likely in? The ones I tried in different programs like nero, fireburner, burnatonce, roxio, clonecd, alcohol120, the programs would not recognize or just didn't like, and when I open it with Isobuster (after adding .iso), it shows this:

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated before I burn any coasters.
EDIT:
LOL, I was screwing around and changed it to .avi, it actually played i media player just fine, but that's one hell of avi file size!
I'm still stuck though I know when I see the answer I'll probably slap myself for being stupid. . .
Why not keep changing the extension but checking if the renamed file mounts in Daemon Tools or Alcohol? That way you can simply look at the mounted image to see if it's fucked or not... Saves you burning a coaster

Thanks, was thinking of that as well, going to try it with Alcohol. Also, maybe since it comes up as one track, I could burn it as a data disk direct?
EDIT:
Tried the following formats and then tried mounting them in Alcohol 120%:
iso, img, bin, mds, bwt, ccd, cdi, pdi, nrg. None worked.
Trying the next step by extracting the Track 1 with Isobuster. Isobuster is saving it as a .tao which I haven't come across as a format in years.
The movie is there since changing it to .avi let it play in media player. Could change it to .avi and then convert it using WinAVI or DVDSanta or even Tmpgenc but I'm going to see what happens first with the .tao.
(I'll assume that you haven't got "hide extensions for known file types" selected in explorer).
The extension should be .img (but iso should work equally as well), and DVDdecrypter is the easiest app for burning.

Maybe it IS actually an avi. Rename it to .avi and run it through gspot and see what you get.
Whatever it was, someone should have their fucking head shoved so far up their own ass, they can taste what they just had for breakfast. . .again.
It was totally fucked, plus the fact that even though the file was 4.17g, it didn't have the ending! WTF?
Altogether now: DELETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the help anyway, just got a better copy.
same proglem no extension
Guys
downloaded neverland dvdr anarchy bla bla with no extesion. tried the same thing with no results. anyone who can assist it would be very very very helpful
figured it out
guys answer to my question and your problem earlier. If you open the first or 001 file with win rar it seems to link up all other files and show you an IMG file which you can burn with NERO or DVD decrypter

Yea, some groups still use the old naming scheme of winrar when archiving their work. Another would be XPD. I can see how it can be confusing to some people. The files are similar to those associated with a joining program like HJSplit. You have to manually open these files up with winrar cuz they don't automatically open when double clicking on them.
