Wow from the sample the video looks like it has no watermarks or anything just pure untouched film. It is a pretty short scene where they are just getting ready to eat with not to much action but it does look incredible. There was an odd glitch in the audio though (sounded kind of like a boing or something) and I got the sample from 2 places and it was on both so it may happen throughout the movie. Can't wait to watch the whole thing and hope IATSE has more to come soon!
9/9/?

Great quality Video and sound - a few "Loaned for Academy Award screener" watermark.
Scanned through - seems like missing ending, no ending credits.
Movie is supposed to be 1hr and 35 mins. CD1 is 43.37 and CD2 is 42.30 total 85.67 or 1 hr and 25 mins.
Can someone confirm whether ending is missing of not.

Ah well, you guys are idiots. Anywho, figured i'd post on this one. Great release all together. Sound, video, and movie were top notch. I saw this in the theater, and just watched it the other day .. loved it even more the second time.

8/9/10 - Best movie of the year, period. Everyone said Roger Ebert's rating was exaggerated..but i disagree. Couldn't agree more with him. Great film, acting, and actors alike. This IS a must see.

Viker i think your thinking of the xvid release, i too have a philips 642,it was encoded using Quarter Pixel, called Qpel, the usual mpeg modifier wont fix it either, until this release i used winavi to encode it
great film.........8/8/9
Would just rather see the dvd-r released.

excellent quality, I just love the academy awards. Video and audio are excellent, just a small property of on bottom of screen from time to time which you can barely even notice. I actually really like this movie, (I think Morgan Freeman should get a nomination for best supporting actor for this one. props to IATSE.

Thumbs up

i grabbed the kvcd of this movie and although i converted to dvd in about 3hrs i must admit apart from the green areas of the film, quality upon re-encode was of very high standard using Sony Vegas 4.
A superb film, top cast, a must for anyone to see!!!
video:8, audio:8, movie:9.5

Ending is NOT missing get the repack. Just an FYI though CD1 is just a tad oversized have to use overburn if u want to burn it to SVCD. Anyways another fine WS academy screener. Great pic and sound. The movie is very inspirational as well

?...mpeg was 795 mb and bin was 806 mb. Have never had to overburn using those numbers before, using alcohol or burnatonce(on 80 min cdr\rw).

Quoted from imdb...

Million Dollar Baby may not cost SAG member Ronald Redding a million dollars, but it could cost him a big chunk of that amount. On Tuesday, Redding, a Maryland member of the actors' union, pleaded guilty to sharing a screener of Million Dollar Baby that he was given prior to voting for the annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. Since the copy ended up online sporting his electronic "watermark," he faces a six-month prison sentence and a $100,000 fine. He also faces a lawsuit by Warner Bros. that could cost him an additional $150,000

yikes... this does not bode well for the upcoming screener season.
