Why is this downsampled? There is plenty of room left on the disc...

great audio and video

9/10/haven't seen it yet

It appears to me that there is only DD 2.0 on this disk. i purposely downloaded the DVD-R to get DD 5.1, or else SVCD would have been fine. god damn boozers. as much as i love your supply, learn to smarten the fuck up, include more info on downsampling, and dont tell people your shit is 5.1 when it isnt..

i dotn think im wrong on this, but it only plays 2.0 in my dvd player. if im wrong let me know, but im almost 100% positive its only 2.0...

it's missing GET VTS. Just repack/image with Ifoedit and you're done. Or wait for some ind to rel a fix. Really surprised to see such a noob mistake on a BooZerS rel though, their ripps are usually very good.

I agree on the discspace left. Why so much downsampling???

9/10/x

---only downloaded because I love DD5.1 DVDSCR and collect them.

Posted by redfield on 01-10-2005 10:24 AM:

There was NO Downsampling, it's a DVD Screener and that was most likely how they recieved the copy. Check out http://www.vcdquality.com/index.php?page=nfo&id=41852

For the Notebook DVD Screener NFO how TEG States they recieved the 3~GB DVD-R just like that. They don't put too much effort in a screener, hence not even filling one layer.

Just popped it in...working in 5.1 for me and quality is excellent 9/9/10, movie was priceless.

Remember the days when groups actually took a minute to add useful info/notes to their nfo's?

I watched this as is (no modifications) in PowerDVD with DVI out to my TV no problem. This also includes the 5.1 surround. It worked on my standalone also (Pioneer DV-363). So I really dunno what's going on here, but no problems here.

Posted by Extractor on 01-11-2005 06:47 AM:

did you guys even read my post? It's missing vts sector fix (GET VTS button in Ifoedit). Very noobish mistake. That's why it works for some (with PC players or Apex or whatever) and not for others. I'm surprised it worked in porco's standalone, could be because it's only 1 vts and no chapters. I didn't initially work in my Pioneer... it just showed SEARCH on the display. Anyways, you can do a ppf for it in 5 minutes... or just repack it yourself, then it works fine.

sorry..long day dude. i dont mean anything either m8

anyways yeah, it only does dd 2.0 for me at least its not just me whos having problem

Still strange on the DD2.0... There is one audio track on this disc and it's a DD5.1 track. If you're playing it on your computer, make sure your speaker setting is to 5.1 (sometimes mine resets to 2.0). Same with the standalone/receiver, make sure it's on the correct setting. Not sure why somewhere it's getting downmixed from 5.1 to 2.0... But it's something definitely on your end.

Extractor: Which Pioneer you have? On my old DV-333 it doesn't work, but I find my DV-363 plays anything I put in. I guess maybe I am lucky with that player And the PowerDVD I used was 6.0 deluxe (but I think as long as you don't use Media Player, it will work).

Posted by kiddsilk69 on 01-11-2005 06:43 PM:

Couldnt get it work on 4 of my DVD player was the first movie Ive ever had trouble with.

Video- 8 Good
Audio- 5 I wouldnt know if i was in 5.1 since this release is alll fucked up and it would only play on my computer.
Movie- 5 Seem like a really political episode of SouthPark

well... as for my two cents It only has one audio track and it's DD5.1 AC3... and it played on all of my dvd players...my main problem was the lack of chapters... so I thought I'd run it through dvdlab and add some... come to find out that every vob was encoded slightly different... one was 3:2... another was 3:2 dropdown... ect, ect but once I re-encoded it all was good at least they didn't chop the top and bottom off like DVL... I really hate that shit.... over all though I give this a 9... great movie... just sloppy encoding.

By the looks of it, it was either provided like that, or recorded from on of those special "screener only" DVD players onto a standard DVD-Recorder (which would also explain why it is a CBR or 4100kbit/sec and only has like 3.8 gigs of the DVD).

Either way, this is as good as we'll see until March/April when the R1 is out (whenever that is). Probably we'll see a R3 first haha
