Nice!!

9/9/? (sample)

The max bitrate thing doesn't bother me at all because my standalone can play it without a hitch (and it looks freaking amazing)

I've been dying to see this one....everyone has been telling me it's hysterical.....

...I actually just got two tickets to see this in the mail but I think this is more of a stay at home date flick.

Saw this in the theatres, good stuff.

From Sample;

8/9/9

JPG doesn't do it justice.

Field report

*Nuked for 9800k max bitrate.

This is a CAPture not a Rip (obvious from the DVD player splash screen at the start)

AfterBurning- the timeline craps out @ around 55:00 on both discs. Still plays beyond the 55 min mark, just no skipping/searching.
Looks like the whole film is there.
Quality is a bit better than vhs/vcd - but this being a conversation film, there's not much to miss.

And yes it is nuked.

Posted by BallTongue on 01-23-2005 03:11 AM:

DJ the reason the DVDR is nuke is because of bad res. 704 x 480. Neither of these nukes really affect me. I play my movies thru my Xbox with XBMC. Anyway based on the sample:

Grabbing this. The max bitrate has never been a problem with my standalone.

7\10\? From a few rars. Same quality as a lot of the other screeners.

Posted by Kick on 01-23-2005 04:05 AM:

8/9/?

Posted by bluegrass on 01-23-2005 04:22 AM:

good flick max bit rate no prob movie is funny 8/8/7

Posted by digitaldt on 01-23-2005 04:48 AM:

just watched the entire movie. and considering it's nuked description and complaints about max bitrate, the movie still played on my cheap Desay-brand DVD player.

jesus, to the whiners: just re-encode it!

8.75/9/9

movie was funny. but don't waste $15 on it in the movies. yeah, thats right. movie tickets are $15 here in NY, so stop complaining about free stuff!

Posted by FroggyStyle on 01-23-2005 05:14 AM:

After watchin a few rars:

Video looks very nice....colors are clean & crisp. Audio seems spot on. Of course, all of this is expected from a screener. Really looking forward to watchin this one in full since I hear nothing but good things. Thanx VideoCD for a sweet release....even if it is nuked.....max bitrate never bothered my player.
Rating : 8/9/dunno yet

[will update when i finish the flick]

Update: Movie's a 7.5 (very good movie, but don't believe all the hype or you'll end up expecting too much....and probably being disappointed.)
No distracting B & W scenes. No annoying watermarks. Just a coupla "Property of Fox. Do not copy. Yada yada yada..." No big deal.

Awesome release. Highly recommended.

Even though this is a decent quality rip. I just prefered the DVDR that SCREAM put out, but dont forget to get the REPACKED one. And just when i thought Academy DVDSCR Season was ending this and Oceans 12 came out. Big props to all groups on these fine releases.

8/9/8.5 Movie is excellent!!

Posted by soeazy2004 on 01-23-2005 07:08 AM:

9.9.5

no problems here

Good video/audio ...movie was overated in my opinion.

Have yet to fully download this, but I like the quality and don't see completely why it's nuke. The picture is clear and I've waited awhile for this release. Thanks guys, the sound is great also.
