Single rar file view question

any way to view just a single rar from the set of rars? Sometimes there is no sample mpg...

Sometimes you can. Try searching the forum, this has been answered before.

I was wondering that myself and decided to search. But...rar is only three letters and not four and therefore you can't search for it

certain players can indeed use video from a single rar file and play them directly, the only two i believe that can are VideoLAN and MediaPlayerClassic (not too sure about that one but i'm pretty positive videolan does)

sometimes this works and some times it doesn't, right click on the rar file, go to properties and rename the file extention to .vob and lots of times it will play in your software DVD player enabling a quality check of the release without downloading the whole thing.
