looks good to me, menu buttons work as they should or shouldn't, picture looks good as does sound, great release...
9,8, Movie, I don't always enjoyed the first, this one will probably suck or not
P.S. I just skimmed through it
I leeched this and watched it fully - i actually liked the film, totally implausible (well i say that, yet some poor fuck was on a raft after the tsunami for like 25 days and he lived) but it was pretty decent overall.
Video - looks fine for the most part, video seems to stay well over 4000-5000 for most of the movie...THEN you hit one of the cooler scenes (bandit confrontation, where they go talk to the wierd local motherfuckers and shit goes down) and it seems to look like SHIT to me. there faces are oddly colored, along with there clothing. looks like a FUCKED encode. i cant tell if this is the actual movie (i know this scene is meant to be a bit differant shot wise to most, but i cnt tell if its done on the retail or its corrupts shit encode) but i think its the latter as the scene is roughly 3000-4000kbits throughout
i dont know why, maybe its the fact its a night scene is the reason. either way it annoyed me, i really like this scene (it seems to me to be fucking cool aight, the mofo fucking flies in slow mo, that shits always sick)
Audio - 5.1 retail. perfect
V - 7 (the fact one of my fav scenes is fucked kbit/s and color wise annoys me)
A - 10
M - 7
- Horton
41:04 a scene from previous into the movie is jumped to then back to where it was for 2 seconds
rather annoying anyone else had this problem?
This may actually be how the film was made, unsure as this is first time i saw it. its for 18 frames its doing it and its precisely where the one guy is run away then it loops to where hes @ the graves then back. Perhaps a flashback of him?

Check again. its there. and its on the svcd as well.
hmmm i guess i am the only one that see's subtitles all over this thing, they cant be turned off....anyone notice this? or is it jus my gay ass computer...:->
Probally computer, i dont see them. I only noticed the scene i mentioned, more then likely its poor directing/editing of the retail. Its to short to really understand whats going on and seems like an skip in the disc.
Fire_Sokar is correct there is definitely something strange going on at 41:04. It seems to skip, then jump to a different scene then jumps back and the video pauses for a second...
Since you're saying that the problem exists in both the DVR and the SVCD it would lead me to believe that it's a problem with the source disc they used...
I verified this problem on both WinDVD6 and my stand alone...
I didn't see this in the theatre, but I doubt that this is the way it's supposed to be...
I guess it's only a matter of time before it gets nuked... unless someone figures out what happened and comes up with a patch (doubtful)
yea i burnt it off and seems fine for other than wat u mentioned, seems like a disc skip or something along those lines :-(
Further investigation is leading me to wonder if its the directors "artistic impression" ok for example. if it were random point. theres an 1% chance it lands on a scene that is relative. ok mind you it is landing on a scene with the character who is missing. and the pause after the jump, thats just the guy looseing track of time (notice the loud clash). we need verification from a person who TS / DVDSCR i believe.
It's definitely a glitch, notice the jump right after the scene switch. Frames are missing. Do they ever check their releases? Nice effort, but a proper would be even nicer!

ok u said its on the SCR too, that would mean its an part of the film itself - release is fine. Thats all i was wondering "poor editing/directing" thats all the lil jump is. notice its the same guy who is lost and hes out looking for. that lil jump after the frames are missing = on purpose. i got that one. notice the loud banging nosie in the movie. it symbolizes it as well.
