From sample:
Video is a little bit blurry and dark, but has good colors
Audio is DTS, so it sounds good.

7/10/?

Posted by firefighter on 02-06-2005 02:39 AM:

Picture is dark & grainy , not subbed like their past releases , AR seems fine in this. Watchable unlike the SVCD TS's SG18 released. I still feel this copy didnt warrent SVCD (mpeg2) , as its still pixelated and noticeable glitches on some scenes or lots of motion blurness. EDiT Sounds Great (i was wrong) , major sync issues on both CD's , CD1 is slight out of sync, CD2 is horrible .... *Ok* first copy , watchable ... still shouldnt have been SVCD.

I know everyone says it but i miss maVen/VideoCD/Centropy SVCD TS's

I picky so as its good for lots , im going to avoid this till a nicer Chakra/Ctp TC (hopefully) ..

SVCD TS:

hmm.. i would give the audio 10/10, but sadly it reminds me of incredibles.telesync.svcd-centropy, the DISORTION in the sound when its load, check the first few rars an ull see wat i mean. the video is great, i was about to run down someones boardband cable and slit there throats when they got the sample and check he quoted: omg, this is totally un-watchable, i copy & pasted this straight from IRC, no joke, if any1 can help me in telling me how this is "totally un-watchable" cause i have no idea

Oversized means that its too big to fit onto your usual 700mb, 80 minute CDR/W when you burn it. There is ways so you can still burn it but its a pain in the ass sometimes and if they followed the rules , there wouldnt be a problem. More then Likely you will see a CD2 "Repack/ReRip".

::EDIT:: Don't encourage 'em by answering bud, I'm going to start banning people who ask noob questions in here (it's a release comments thread after all). This isn't a "dig" at you BTW, your contribution to these threads is appreciated... If only because unlike most people who comment on releases here, you've actually seen the fuckers - Neversoft::

Hi firefighter,

Thanx for the swift reply...so we can just burn to DVDRW and we should be sweet to watch.....

cheers Bro!

::EDIT:: Oi, this is a movie comments thread not the "help" section of the forum. Follow the site rules or fuck off - Neversoft::

From first 4 rars..

(From full now!)

7/10/?

(5/8/3)

Video: widescreen looks like weee!

(cropped to hell and back and darker then a shaddow)

Sound: dead on!

(two sync probs that work out quickly)

Movie: will have to update.

Thanks for the quick release even though it needs some tweeks

(movie pretty much sucked, might have been better if I could see what was going on. I did all I could do to get it brighter w/ no luck.)

Peace!

Watched sample and a few RARs dark (what do you expect it's about the Boogeyman?) Kind of grainy (some suppliers should chip in get this group a better camera) audio right on par and seems to be sync'd well. Really think this would have been ok a VCD.TS - leaving the door open for a better SVCD.TS; but most of the groups that do the "awesome" SVCD.TS don't care to dupe it so it really doesn't matter - their releases will spread because people will want them scene rules or not. Great release COBRA is getting better, if only they had a better camera I think they releases would be great. Keep up the good work COBRA a great release especially for the first release!

6.5/8/?

::EDIT::
Seen nuked as CD2.Oversized and grp.req

looks like we will be seeing a repack.

se7en:

i agree with you about cobra getting better but who knows if they have a crappy cam. for all we know they got a bad cammer and/or coder.

anyhow, guess you didn't read anyone's post about this rls as we've already known it was nuked for that reason since the first post.

just fyi...

Not bad and pretty quick.

7/8/?

Oversize cd2 won't stop a recode...lol.

A first

most people give ratints on the quality but never the movie. This is an exact opposite post.

?/?/6

The movie was okay and everything but the "jump scares" were too numerous and were telegraphed too obviously. Now, this got a 6 because I saw it in theaters. The surround sound makes this movie. It sets the mood so well. I would suggest going to see this if you happened to like it. I'd catch the matinee though. I paid 5 bucks (matinee) and left feeling a bit ripped off so 7.50 I would have been mad. The acting in it was pretty good. The only thing that keeps this from being a 10 ((Only thing and really most important)) is that it was just too predictable.

Thumbs down

LOL Nice Try,No Subs HUH???
From What I Saw Of Disk 1 Starts Out With Subs Which U Guys Cropped Out Nice Try :0)
Your Group Is Much Appreciated In The Scene,But As Was Stated B4 We Need Groups Who Are Releasing Worthwhile Dloads And Not Wasting Our Bandwidth..

Well Nothing To Be Embarrassed About... Hope Your Future Releases Are Alot Better... Good Luck

Would you have to still worry about that if you are converting to DVDR?.

7.5 = Video
8 = Audio
??? = Watching Later Tonight

This looks fine and will end up on DVDR anyways...
7.5/9/7 (Better than the Grudge; please, please Sam Raimi don't remake EVIL Dead with your new production company with Sean William Scott like it says on IMDB)

As for the so called "Distortion" PleXO says Incredibles had all I can say is get a GOOD STEREO! Incredibles was awsome sound and had a more deep bass than the 5.1 SCR DVDR i have. When his car pulls up to the old lady with the cat in the tree for the first time it knocks pictures off my wall with clean bass.

Kinda the point

Nice job cobra. Still need some work but can def see a lot things learned since the last rls. I also agree that it proably should have been VCD but a lot of grps are making that mistake atm. Very good clear sound w/ some depth to it and nice colors for such a dark movie, a little grainy w/ some motion blur but a very watchable 1st.

6.5/8.5/?

P.S. The oversized nuke only matters if your burning to 80min/700mb CDR/RW

Posted by ou812 on 02-06-2005 06:18 AM:

About halfway through it (end of cd1 and beginning of cd2) is 1-2 seconds out of sync, evenutally it catches back up though.
