-- Diary Of A Mad Black Woman - CAM - WastedSilver (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=56127)
from sample very good pic sound is ok
7/6/10
for starters, picture is good ... not perfect, but beyond expectations on a first copy. yes, its a little dark, but colors seem fine and clearity is good. as for the sound ... it has a nasty hiss in it, u can still make out what they're sayin though.
video - 7 dark but good colors and clear
audio - 5 hiss in the background but voices are clear enough to make out what they're sayin
from sample, it seems watchable. so if u really want to see this and can bear the audio go ahead and grab this copy
watched from beginning to end... not bad for a cam.... there is a slight hiss thru out the flick... also I guess there was a cell phone was ringing close to the camera because of the cellular interference noises I heard several times thru the movie. There was also 1 or 2 times where the video was totally scrambled like the camera was bumped or something.. but overall a good release...I actually watched the silver of this about 24hrs b4 it was released...This is same source...
6.5/6/10... I love the movie. Im a tyler perry fan.
From full release...
Audio has a hiss to it.. although it is direct.. I guess with all the DTS tracks being put into the telesyncs these days you would call this "Old School" direct audio... the way most telesyncs were done a few years ago, however everything is pretty clear and you can make out what is being said. There are a few times when you can hear the audio input cable get bumped which apparently causes a bit of distortion but it is bearable if you want to see this bad enough.
The video (on a monitor) has a light to dark flicker through most of the movie.. however you don't notice it as much when playing back on a TV, not over cropped and the color is fairly decent.. you can tweak the brightness and color out a bit by running it through Tmpgenc.
Overall a passable first release
The movie is pretty good if your a fan of Tyler Perry's stage plays... I expect some though who have no idea who Madea is won't get it.
Personally I enjoy all of Tyler Perry's plays and found this movie quite funny and entertaining.
If your a Tyler Perry fan go to the movies and spend the $$$ to support this film, as we did... it's well deserved.
7/6/8
Why would it be labelled CAM when it is a TS according to you? CAM=Non Direct Sound last thing I heard. A hiss certainly suggests non direct sound.
Just checked out a couple of rars and yeah there is a real bad hiss (nothing like any ts I have seen even with jacked direct sound except for ones where the jack has slipped out a little or those that are mislabelled cams - jacked audio has never really given a major hiss for me at all). BUT.....the audio underneath is actually very nice....clear and without any loss of words....very odd.

releases are nuked when they are dupes or copies or of something that another group already released... so why does a group get credit for something they bought on a street corner and just simply uploaded? they did NO work, no resampling, no work, on the audio. they took someone else's work and stole it and yet it's accepted.
now if someone else goes and picks up that same silver and make some changes like improve the audio to make it a better release it would get nuked as a duped or as a stolen source.
why?
The hiss in the audio wasn't that bad to me, seemed like a typical cam, and as stated video is a notich above a standard first release (at least lately what we've been used to):
7/6/9
And yes, you definately need to go and pay and support Tyler Perry. He is not a Hollywood mogul... his stage plays got him where he is now and he deserves the rewards from this movie.

From Sample:
Video - Pretty decent, slight flicker. No significnt tilt or cropping.
Audio - is pretty hissy and is quite clearly this way. doesn't effect overall hearing too much but is noticeable.
7/5/? Rated as CAM not TS
judged from sample only...
V-7
A-5
M-9 (seen at theatre)
Got to give Perrys his due on this movie folks. Me and lady saw this at a matinee today. Go and buy a ticket and see this flick, it's worth the purchase price!!

Well there could be a couple of reasons for that, first off they know they are not gonna be nuked for mislabeling a TS a Cam, especially when there is much room for major improvement... they don't know if they are gonna get hold of another copy down the road.. and if they do and a TS already exists of it their not gonna get any credit for a dupe, so labeling it as a Cam just gets these newbies and people who don't know any better to go "Wow"... "What a Good Cam"... had this been released as a TS everyone would be bashing it and saying how shit the quality was... but if your expecting a Cam... then this is above average for a Cam and you will be pleased for the most part.
Second of all.. if you cannot tell the difference between:
Bad Direct audio
Good direct audio
& Audio recorded from the microphone of a camcorder then I cannot help you but I will try
Non-Direct audio almost always has audience noise, people laughing, talking, cellphones ringing, ect ect... unless it has been cammed in an empty theater (this was not... there are a few times you see someone walk by infront of the camera.. however it is quick and not that bad) Sure there is a hiss in cam audio..however it is a different kind of hiss... pretty much anyone who's been around the "scene" since the beggining knows the difference.... and i'm not talking about the beggining of VCDquality for you kiddies out there....
Hope I could help...

Actually Mr. Joe Blow who cammed the silver and released it to the people to sell on the streets did "NO work" , when grps pick these movies up their in vob format and absolute shit, Most unwatchable. They dont just take that and upload it , they gotta fix the picture, add crop , lighten , darken , filter audio some , etc. An Average Silver takes like 2 hours of cleanup before its released to all the leechers. The guy who cammed it doesnt do any work to it as time is money, these grps who release to you majority of the time have worked wonders and made it semi watchable.
use this for the video... and use NBP's release for the audio...
This release...
V - 7 (cam) which gets scrambled like 2 times.
A - 4 (hiss + cell phone)
M - 7 (saw it, worth matinee money)
:edit: ohh yea, u can brighten it and make the colors more vivid! TMPGEnc plus and u got a good release!
