Nuked: checked the sample myself closer-corrupt-sample.vob

SAMPLE was jumping all over the place, really quite annoying, shame really..

Yah or nah? Hopefully the reason for the proper was the DVDShrink job done by MPT. Doesn't say anything in the NFO?

Don't download this release it's skippy at best. I just wasted a load of my credits. Simple as that.

God dammit... Interlaced and jumpy?! I was so excited that this came out and bang.

I don't understand. AVISynth is NOT that hard to use, and to have 2 nukes on the same release is beyond me.

I guess third time is a charm? Still waiting for the third Ocean's Twelve. Replica maybe will have to come through.

Actually, the release is 100% fine. Its just a bad sample. They should release a sample fix.

So this release (Corrupt's version of Closer) had no interlacing or jumpiness in the actual DVD-R? Wow. That's good news.

If this is not the case, please let me know Thanks.

yeh , just the sample was screwed , the movie itself is fine. Why they didnt do a sample fix *shrug* , but sample doesnt reflect on the movie.

Watch it in your standalone dvd player you moron. Nothing is wrong with this release at all.

FLAMING = BAN

Show some class please folks!

Indeed stupid0r...

Looks like u're a MPT fan.

No hard feelings but the truth has to be told.

This release can be fine on your standalone, of course. Your screen can probably handle interlaced crap.

Watch it on a large plasma screen and you'll see...

Yup small TVs will just make interlacing like a ghost frame, u gotta be an expert to see them on 27" and below. Totally noticable on my big screen.

So, is this movie interlaced or is it just the sample?

Entire movie, start till end.

Thanks for the info.

Damn. How does someone miss that prior to releasing it. You'd be already able to see the interlacing before encoding with the AVISynth script.

Looks like another *PROPER PROPER* will come out

I'm really surprised how irresponsible these groups are lately. They screw up and do nothing to fix it. Sheesh. I guess free stuff isn't as good as it used to be

i dont think anyone has had problems with Closer.MULTI-DVDR, thats what i plan on getting if an actual proper doesnt come out in the next few days (and i doubt there wont be one out during that time..)
