-- AVP Alien Versus Predator (2004) EXTENDED *XviD* - DVDRIP - KiNOBOX (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=56542)

Hi,

Extened Edition is only 2 mins extra footage, so unless ur a die hard fan OR havent a copy i dunno if its worth the download...

''Well, this DVD has an "extended" edition, which adds all of two minutes to the film, 102 minutes vs. 100. The new stuff is tacked on at the beginning, with a scene taking place 100 years before the primary events of the film. We erroneously reported the new footage to be gore shots, but that's not the case.

Not much was left on the cutting room floor, it seems. There are three deleted scenes, about one minute total, all of which are extended versions of existing scenes. One shows the Predator to have a dry sense of humor.''

what an absolute waste of freakin time... if ANY decent group thought it was worthwhile re-releasing teh film as the extended version, they would have done so by now - this group could ATLEAST have the balls to do an extended 2 cd release... sure, get nuked, but atleast it would be a worthwhile release as it is, absoloutely no better than the original release, id say quality is a little worse. pointless release (cant say it enough) - there is no reason to 'trade up' from the theatrical if u allready have it

5/5/6 (6 for the good work done on the look of the aliens and preds)

Yes, this release is not so great. A 2CD version internal would have been better. Even though it's a pretty dark movie, it's still got things in it which don't lend to being that compressible (i.e. action, snow, stormy weather etc)

Movie was good!!! It has most things that you could ask for in a movie of its type.
