New player recommendations...

I've got a panasonic rv31 which plays all my vcd's just fine. I'd get another one for my sister, but it doesn' t support SVCD.

I bought her an RCA RC5240P - which is supposedly able to play just about anything.

Well almost EVERY VCD i burn (on yamaha professional grade CDR's out of taiwan) the movies all "stick" probably 30 times a disk for 1-5 seconds (just pauses) and it's freakin annoying. Same disks play just fine in my panasonic.

So looking for a new player, cost isn't a big issue.. whats the best out there that plays at least vcd and svcd?

thanks

Any Apex or Pioneer will play all SVCD and VCD. IMHO the Pioneers have better mechanical integrity - They break down less
