Anywho, movie looks nice and sounds nice, altogether nice, this isn't a bad film too.

Property of at the top and do not dupe at the bottom. Wide screen. Looks great except I dont like wide screen and the writing on it. 7/9/8

::EDIT:: Dude, please... Every time you comment you mention that you don't like 16:9! PLEASE buy a new TV, one that doesn't suck and is the "proper" shape - Neversoft::

great quality, shame about the "do not copy" etc. Would like to know why people didnt download the telecine, that copy was superb, probably nearly as good as the dvdrip

Last I checked today was March 10th so how is May 3rd three weeks away? Well anyway, you're right. Might as well wait for the pre-release of the dvd. I have the telecine which I think was more than enough to hold off until dvd.

Lovely DVD sceener from ANI. Good work.

From watching the entire rls

Video - very nice, is crystal clear with only the smallest amount of pixellation during a couple of action scenes. Colors are vibrant and the dark scenes are viewable.
"Property of Walt Disney Pictures" is watermarked at the top center & "Do Not Duplicate" are watermarked at the bottom center. These although being large enough to be easily seen are not a huge enough hinderance to really deter you from watching this rls. Otherwise this picture is free from any other tags and black/white stitching.

Audio - very nice audio, is clear and above all loud. Really makes this film even better. Good job.

Movie - a good thrill ride as well as being a decent mystery/treasure hunt story. Nicholas Cage is good as mr. treasure hunter and the blonde women he picks up is fine! So enjoy what is an above average action film with an ever so slightly silly plot

9/10/8

because i, and many ppl, only want dvd source for their movies, and i don't mind the watermarks that much. never grabbed a tc in my life and never will.

Typical screener wiht usual watermarks

Screener ratings:

Audio:8
Video:8.5 (very well balanced)
Movie:6

quality 8/8/9

normal water marks....good film....oh yeah

Posted by crapper on 03-12-2005 04:13 PM:

great release.. but the tc was good enough
the watermark is not that annoying yet annoying enough..

if u wanna see this movie get the tc or wait for the real dvd..

the same waterwarks could be foudn on the incredibles screener.. yet on this one there more annoying probable cuase the movie is a bit darker then the incredibles..

still a great release
picture 8
sound 10
movie 8

Picture: 8.5 - Almost dvd quality, but due to the property of at the top and the bottom being annoying i had to reduce a mark. I will make sure to crop this though when i re-encode

Audio: 10 - Can't get any better, excellent quality

Movie: 7 - Pretty good movie for all ages, quite enjoyed this

Just finished getting this version, ran into a problem with missing 1 rar. #49 for CD2. Anyone else run across this problem?
