This Movie really Rocks, it is much better then Fahrenheit 9.11
if you are into Documentary or Military Movies - this is a Must view for you.
Give independent Films a Chance.

Im not a huge documentary fan , but this seemed kinda interesting so picked it up ..

First of all the quality , your usual VHS Screener ** gen , property of whatever top and center pops up every few minutes for a few seconds. No Counters. Was a bit blurry , colors seemed bleeded a bit. Overall very watchable copy and sound was great.

Ever since Bush announced all major operations were finished in Iraq and its just time to liberate the country ... the news figured , this is boring shit and stopped covering whats going on in Iraq , same shit every day ? ... well this movie shows you what do & doesnt happen ....

Dont wanna spoil it , but this makes the USA Soldiers there still a joke. Partying in a bombed out palace , policing & babysitting . Iraqi's love you one day , throw rocks at you the next day ...

Hopefull 3 more years for Bush and this will all be over, need another pesident like Clinton *lover not a fighter* ;p

Anyway , this was interesting to watch , or great for a rainy day. If your curious what the media isnt covering , liked Farenheight 9/11 , or see a side of the war the media wont cover .... pick this up and it should interest ya .

An interesting documentary about Soldiers at War in Iraq carrying out their various duties and living there lives...The pic is WS a tad blurry and dark especially in the night scenes. Sound is a bit low, but there are subtitles. Low budget but interesting. Engaging at times and all out boring sometimes. Its definitely worth a watch, but its NOT for everyone..

Well im not american , im Canadian ...

I dont support the war , i do agree Sadam Hussain could have been a risk , not to Western Worlds but to neighboring countrys. At the time ... nah he was still hurting from last time bush senior kicked their butts.

The only reason i wanted to see this movie was for months the media pumped 1 picture into our heads, and curious as i am , i wanted to see the other side of the story from the front lines.

As i said up there ^ , as what i think now , i think the war is a joke ... its more policing then peacekeeping.

eye opening

In a news media which goes from tragedy to tragedy without even caring to look into how it effects anyone... this is a breath of fresh air... I do not support the war, but its too late now and we have to finish somehow (im not the Sec of Def, i dont know how) but this shows what the media should show atleast once in a while, they say they support the troops then show a 2 sec clip of someone injured with no comments from them, this is the opposite and shows american ideals b4 things got hectic to the change in mindsets as the threats mounted, you get to actually get closer to the troops, their emotions, and thoughts, emotion and thought... wow something the news doesnt have! now for the copy its a screener... i hate to say all screeners are the same... but hell most of them are unless a multiple gen copy, or a near perfect copy, but i do like the WS, the sound is normal VHS sound, but has enuff volume to clearly hear it... so for the release (as a scr and a documentary) 7/7/8

Film grainy, blurry, sound low at times especially the ner. (but there are subs for that. Movie was ok as it showed one sliver of the pie. Seemed to try and show the soldiers as "gangsta" but that was probably the best thing this guy had going to make this somewhat interesting.

6/6/7

The media stopped covering the war. Possibly because its boring to ignorant fools but most likely as an attack. See, for the "Old Media" (here in the states...Don't know if you all have the old media where you live) to continue with their attacks against our President Bush they couldn't possibly follow the day to day war. That would be positive for the President. So what they do is pop in and out when something bad happens. One day you'll here of soldier casulties then nothing until the next attck. Do they fill in the gaps with news about the rebuilding of schools, hospitals, parks, streets, or TRAINING THE IRAQI GAURD?(so we can get out of there and move on to you know where)
Remember the footage here is old. Since this was filmed Saddam was captured, Iraqis voted, and a lot has been rebuilt. Democracy is spreading and its infectious as hell. Just look around and you'll see it unfolding before your eyes. Freedom is by no means a bad thing and is sometimes tragic to get to.
