i have goldwave and i have robtos ((saosins release)) and every is tellimng me i can runthe osund through soundwave somehowand fix the sound. can anyone help meon how to extractaudio how to exactlyrun it through goldwave (( i couldnt find hterite thignsin itwhen i tried ))and then how to get it allback together soi can vconvert to dvd format with tmpgenc xpress. thanks

I dont know from Goldwave but to "extract" the audio as you asked use mpeg tools in tmpg (File/MPEGtools...) and choose Simple De-multiplex. Once you are happy with the audio, use Simple Mulitplex to put them back together into a single asset.

Are you actually going to CONVERT this ts svcd to a dvd(as opposed to putting svcd mpg2 streams on a dvd without re-encoding)?
If so all I can ask is...Why?
If you are, I can only think you have a good reason, otherwise it would be such a waste of time, cpu cycles and media. Thats just my opinion of course

ok i still needhelp running it through goldwave,im useing tmpg exress to encode the mpeg to a dvd mpeg and using nero to burn it.

Robots audio & goldwave

Looking for some help with the audio fixing mentioned on this forum. I have demuxed & have mp2 files, loaded into goldwave, filtered as suggested but what format should i save the new file in & then i guess i load back the orig video & new audio file created into tmpeg & hey presto?

You should save it as .wav file. Then use something like ffmpegGUI to convert back to an .mp2 file. Make sure you use the same specs as the original audio (bitrate, sampling rate, etc). Then mux back with the video (no re-encode) using tmpgenc.

Thanks for the reply I will give that a go. I usually would have then re-encoded to dvd spec as the header trick with dvd patcher doesn't work on all players including mine ( Also better to have on one disk rather than 2. Is there a better way ?

Iv'e put this film onto dvd using TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress without touching the sound & didnt notice any buzzing when played on a stand alone dvd player?
